Accessing Solar Assessments online

Keycode
You will be emailed a Keycode by the MIS department. This Keycode is unique to you and should not
be shared with anyone else. It give you access to the solar test and will be limited to the date and
time on the invitation document.

Below is an example showing where the Keycode is located.

Once you have your Keycode the next stage is to access the SOLAR website.

Using your internet browser.


SOLAR website

The website for the solar test is

Click on the button that reads, Enter Keycode.

English(UK)

On the next screen choose the language - this will be English (the test is only written in English).

Then enter your Keycode.


If you have not downloaded the Surpass viewer, download that now.

When the Surpass viewer has downloaded click here to run the installer.

Once the Surpass viewer is running, it should look like this


On the internet browser window click to resume the test.

Click Here

If prompted click open.


Then add Keycode again

It might come up saying you have to wait one minuet or the Keycode is invalid, this is normal, if you
wait, this screen will show. If all details are correct, you can confirm.
Then accept terms and conditions.

Then click here


Staring the assessment

The assessment is 16 questions long and you have to achieve a pass score of 60%. (10 questions
right)

You can adjust the colour of the screen using settings.

View your progress in the top right hand corner.

When you are ready click Start Test

Move back

When you have completed all questions and reviewed your answers. You can finish the assessment.

This can be done by clicking on the top right hand corner.

You will then receive an overall all mark and you can see if you have passed the assessment.
