Superposition Theorem

The document describes an experiment to verify the superposition theorem using AC and DC sources. The circuit connects resistors R1, R2 and R3 with DC voltage sources V1dc and V2dc. The experiment involves measuring current with the ammeter (I1) using just DC sources, just AC sources (I2), and with both AC and DC sources (I3). It then verifies the superposition theorem by checking if I1 + I2 = I3. This is repeated for different voltage values to further validate the theorem.

PROCEDURE: 1. Connect the circuit as shown in figure. A and note the reading of ammeter (I1) for constant DC sources. 2. Now connect the circuit as shown in figure B. and note the reading of ammeter (I2) for constant AC source voltage. 3. Now connect the circuit as shown in figure.1 and note the reading of ammeter (I1) for same values of voltage which are applied in step1 and 2. 4. Tabulate the reading of ammeter as shown below:

5. Verify superposition theorem by equation I1+I2=I3. 6. Repeat the experiment (step 1to 5) for different constant values of source voltage (at least 5 values)

TABULATED FORM: current Voltage applied I1 I2 I3
