The equation of two sides of a parallelogram are y − x = 2 and 2x + y = 4. Find the equations of the
other sides if they intersect at the point (0, −4).

Find the equation of the line with x-intercept −8 and y-intercept 7.

Find the equation of the line parallel to the x-axis which passes through the point where the lines
4x + 3y − 6 = 0 and x − 2y − 7 = 0 meet.

3. Find the equation of the bisector of the angle between the lines 3x + 4y − 5 = 0 and 2x − y + 4 = 0.

3. AOBC is a rectangle whose three vertices are vertices A(0, 3), O(0, 0), and B(5, 0). The length of

4. A line intersects the y-axis and x-axis at the points P and Q, respectively. If (2, −5) is the mid-point
of P Q, then what are the coordinates of P and Q?
