Double click on Proteus8.

11 … setup file
Select installation folder as shown
Select start menu folder as shown
setup installation will start
Click of FINISH and complete setup
Following icon will appear on your desktop
Double click on icon-Proteus will start
Proteus software will open
Click on New project
Save project on required directory by selecting proper folder
Final selected folder on this PC
Select create a schematic from the selected template(Default)
Select Do not create a schematic
Select Do not create a PCB layout
Select settings as per following .
You will get following window click on finish selection
Source code window tab will be displayed
Schematic capture window tab will be displayed
Click on P button to select different devices from the selection
window as shown
Complete following basic template for crystal and reset pins of
PIC 16f877A microcontroller
Close project from file menu
Close Proteus by clicking on Exit Application
