A noun is a word that names a person, place, or thing. A noun can be singular or plural. Add s to most nouns to
make them plural.
Types of nouns Examples
Singular Plural
A noun can be a person. mom, dad, boy, girl, doctor, teacher
A noun can be a place. city, town, park, corner, class teacher teachers
A noun can be a thing. car, sale, milk, truth, book, wish school schools
