INTRODUCTION

A computer is an electrical device that can be used to store, arrange, and locate words,
numbers, and images. Input, output, system, and storage components make up a computer. A
good computer is defined by its speed, capacity, and versatility. For this reason, having a
decent computer is necessary to make life easy. For every business, finance, government,
entertainment, daily living, industry, education, and administration, this makes it an essential
instrument. All major businesses, whether public or private, may be considered to use
computers for a range of everyday tasks, and this is one of the fastest-growing industries in
the world right now. Each organization usually has several microcomputers as well as one or
more major computer systems. Although there are numerous little microcomputers available
for word processing, the system works very well for data processing activities. These days,
having a computer in our life is necessary.

In this assignment, I have decided to choose a graphic designer computer as my

dream computer because it always my dream to be a graphic designer. I've been doing
graphic design since my high school year, and have always enjoyed the art of graphic design.
It's an excellent way for me to express myself, and it's a digital way of displaying my
creativity. This allows me to create whatever I want, whether for myself or for others.

For a fast and stress-free work experience as a graphic designer, I will need an
amazing computer optimized for graphic design workloads. The best computer for graphic
design is progressively becoming a powerful system capable of putting a large load on its
underlying hardware, similar to working in 3D modelling and rendering or video editing.
Images can be much higher in resolution, vector illustrations can become more complicated,
and modern graphic design software like Adobe Creative Cloud rely on hardware features
that a slow or outdated computer simply cannot manage.

COMPONENTS

Input devices, output devices, system units, and storage are the four main components
that I will include in my dream computer. I chose the devices and items that graphic designers
will require for their designs using these components.

INPUT DEVICES

Input devices are instruments or parts of hardware that allow users to provide data,
information, and control instructions. It can convert data into a format that system units can
understand. There are numerous sorts of input devices, such as keyboards and mouse. Some
of these gadgets can record images, voices, and even video. The vehicle designer may require
additional equipment to assist them.

Keyboard
I've choose Logitech Craft Wireless Keyboard as my
ideal computer's keyboard. Designers, illustrators, and
other digital artists are the target market for Logitech's
Craft wireless keyboard, which is a fantastic tool for
increasing both efficiency and creativity. The feature
that really sets this keyboard apart is the top-left corner,
which gives you control over parameters in all of your

Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, and Premiere Pro. Allows
you to swiftly zoom in and out and modify everything with a few easy taps, including object

devices at once with it’s comfy rounded keys.

Graphic Tablet and Display Pen
Right now, the best drawing tablet available is the
Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium, which hits the perfect
combination of power, design, mobility, and
affordability. Drawing on the tablet is quite satisfying
because to the perfectly sized pen that comes with it. In
addition, the pressure and tilt sensitivity are almost
flawless. It's also a plus that two styluses are included;
as you can set them up for different uses (e.g. one for

line drawing and one for shading) to enable quick

swapping and a smooth workflow.

In order to maximize comfort, the tablet has an integrated, softly curved palm rest. It also has
adjustable LED lights that aid in defining the active drawing area. The natural aspect ratio of
the drawing surface is 16:9. This implies that out of the box, it maps identically to the
majority of industry-standard monitors. Thus, if you drew a perfect circle on the tablet, the
screen would display a perfect circle as well.

Mouse
In comparison to its predecessor, The Logitech MX
Master 3S side buttons are more accessible and have an
enhanced ergonomic design where they are more easily
reached. Upgrading from a 4,000 DPI sensor to an 8,000
DPI sensor, switching to quieter (but less tactile) buttons,
and using a Logi Bolt dongle instead of a Logitech
Unifying receiver (Piltch, 2022).The 8,000 DPI optical

Scanner
The Epson Perfection V600 is designed to
accurately capture every detail of your
documents and artwork. It can capture every
brush or pencil stroke from all forms of

artwork, including watercolors, pencil drawings, and grayscale sketches. The V600 is a high-
quality scanner with a unique feature: the scanning speed may be adjusted at any time.

This adjustable scanner is great for images, documents, and negatives needed by a graphic
designer to complete a project. Along with the larger scanning dimensions of 19 x 11 x 4.6
inches, the USB connectivity ensures an uninterrupted experience. This gadget has a
resolution of up to 9600 and a scanning duration that is quite flexible.

OUTPUT DEVICES

Any hardware device used to transmit data from a computer to a different device or
user is called an output device. Since most output peripherals are designed with human use in
mind, they often take the computer’s processed data and convert it into audio, video, or
physical copies.

Monitor
For creative professionals, ASUS offers a
27-inch 4K monitor called the ProArt
Display PA279CV 27”. With a wide color
gamut that encompasses 100% of the
sRGB and Rec. 709 color spaces, HDR
compatibility, and a 27-inch IPS panel
with 3840 x 2160 resolution are some of
its highlights. In order to guarantee
accurate colors right out of the box, the

monitor is also factory calibrated.

The ASUS ProArt is perfect for creative professionals because of a number of features, such
as:

 A USB-C port that can supply 65 watts of power so that a laptop or other device can
be charged.
 An integrated USB hub featuring three USB 3.0 ports.
 A movable tilting, rotating, and swiveling stand.

  Numerous color modes, such as ProArt Palette and ProArt Preset.

Printer
The Canon PIXMA PRO-200
Wireless Professional Inkjet Photo
Printer is a 13" printer that is meant to
satisfy the needs of graphic designers.
It features an 8-color dye-based ink
system for vibrant high-quality prints.

The Pro-200 also includes three inks
specifically designed for grayscale, enabling you to achieve the deepest possible blacks. With
its compact design, it provides high-speed printing, exceptional productivity, and gorgeous
and brilliant print quality, enabling you to consistently give the results your artistic work
deserves. You can create borderless prints results at 4800 x 2400 DPI up to 13 x 19" on a
variety of media, and you can create custom sizes up to 13 x 39" for non-borderless printing.
The printer has a 3" color LCD display that allows you to maintain and monitor ink levels. It
also has USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi networking options. This printer also has a multipurpose
tray that allows you to print directly onto CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs.

SYSTEM UNIT

The main components of a computer that perform out operations and produce
outcomes from complex calculations are found in the system unit. It is made up of the case
that holds the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and other parts. Most of the tasks that a computer is
required to complete are completed by this component.

CPU (Central Processing Unit)

The Intel Core i9-12900K 12th Gen
typically features a mix of performance cores
(P-cores) and efficiency cores (E-cores). The
i9-12900K specifically has a total of 16
cores, consisting of 8 P-cores and 8 E-cores.
It supports 24 threads due to Hyper-

Threading technology. The processor operates at varying clock speeds, with higher speeds for
demanding tasks and lower speeds for power efficiency. The specific base and boost clock
speeds can vary, and users may have the ability to overclock the processor for additional
performance. Lastly, the processer also includes integrated graphics as part of the processor,
providing basic video output capabilities and the processor supports both DDR5 and DDR4
memory.

GPU (Graphic Processing Unit)

Serious creative workloads can be handled
with ease by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is an
excellent graphics card for tasks like 3D
rendering and video production because it has
a plenty number of cores, an amazing clock
speed, and 24GB of GDDR6X memory.

RAM (Random Access Memory)

The Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 RGB
is a DDR4 (Double Data Rate 4) memory
module and it is available in the DIMM
(Dual In-Line Memory Module) form
factor, which is the standard for desktop
memory. One of the distinctive features of
the FURY Beast DDR4 RGB is its RGB
(Red, Green, Blue) lighting. This allows
users to customize the lighting on the
memory modules, typically providing a

visually appealing and customizable element to the overall system aesthetics. The FURY

stay cool while working on graphic design projects on the Asus ROG Strix B550-F

CPU Cooler
The ROG STRIX LC II 360 ARGB offers a

For the ROG STRIX LC II series of radiators, the ROG radiator fans have been precisely set

Case

STORAGE

Storage is a method for a computer to keep information either temporarily or

permanently. Storage devices are an important component of most digital devices because
they allow users to keep all types of information on the device, such as video, documents,
pictures, and raw data.

SSD (Solid State Drive)

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus is faster and
powered by the latest V-NAND technology and
firmware optimization. It unlocks the full
potential of NVMeTM bandwidth for unrivaled
computing. In addition, the drive has a five-year
warranty, hardware encryption support, and an
endurance of up to 2TB, with up to 1,200 TBW
reliability. The SSD was equipped by Samsung

HDD (Hard Disk Drive)

Western Digital Elements Portable External
Hard Drive It typically uses USB 3.0 or USB 3.2
for fast data transfer speeds. USB 3.0 is backward
compatible with USB 2.0, but for optimal
performance, it's recommended to use it with a
USB 3.0 or later port. The drive is designed to be

plug-and-play, which means it's easy to use without the need for additional drivers. You can
simply connect it to your computer or other compatible devices, and it will be recognized
automatically.

CONCLUSION

An excellent computer will make our lives easier, and electronic devices have become
an important part of our daily lives. To work as a graphic designer, you must have a computer
that will not slow you down or limit your creativity. It should become more efficient and
faster than working manually. To accomplish this goal, you must first determine which items
have higher specifications for a designer. You must ensure that the programs and devices you
intend to use are compatible with your work.

In conclusion, every computer requires four components: input devices, output

devices, system units, and storage. These components will assist us in increasing the speed

and graphics of our computer. Furthermore, knowing every detail and specification about
these components will make us more cautious when purchasing a computer in the future. It
also allows us to purchase a better computer with a lower budget.
