The Role: FullStack Developer

Role Contour:
Senior Fullstack Developer (Senior Manager) to lead one of our key product development team. This
role will report directly to the AVP and will be responsible for successful execution of the company's
business mission through development of cutting-edge software products and solutions.

You will lead the team that builds large-scale systems executing business requirements with sub-
second latencies. You will provide Tech leadership to both internal and market facing technical
partnerships - helping take technical and operational decisions for long term success of the product
and organization.

As a Developer, you will be playing a pivotal role in enabling Protean to deliver to its ambitions. You
will work with an amazing peer group that fuels this ambition. Lead engineering team with 4-5
resources.

Accountabilities:
 Work closely with teams to review architectural and technological choices for functional,
cost and time to deliver fitment.
 Have good technical expertise in Microservices, APIs, JAVA, Javascript, Python, PL / SQL
 Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and assure SLA adherence of all services.
 Collaborate with cross functional teams of QA, Project, UX and other teams for staffing each
project appropriately.
 Mentor and manage engineering managers for effective delivery of projects
 Percolate the benefits of the relevant technological choices to Product, Operations, Business
and Executive teams.
 Be responsible to ship products at high quality in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

Experience & Qualifications


• At least 10 years for Senior Manager as a fullstack developer in a software product company
with High technical credibility - ability to audit technical decisions and push for the best
solution to a problem.
• Require deep technical knowledge in Software Product Engineering using Microservices,
APIs, Java/J2EE, Javascript, Python, mongodb, docker, kubernetes, apache, activemq,
rabbitmq, websocket, webcrawler, springboot, etc.
• Hands-on technical leadership with proven ability to recruit high performance talent
• Experience building End to End Application right from backend database to presentation
layer.
• Experience UI technologies Angular, react.js, Node.js or fullstack environment will be
preferred.
• Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, Dynamodb, etc.)
• Elastic Search, Kibana, ELK, Logstash.
• Experience in developing Enterprise Software using Agile Methodology.
• Good understanding of Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Solr etc.
• SaaS cloud-based platform exposure.
• Experience on Docker, Kubernetes etc
• Ownership E2E design development and also quality enterprise product/application
deliverable exposure
• Write good and well-tested code in Java or other language
• Daily Coding and code check-ins
• SOA API middleware implementation (both REST and SOAP)
• Workflow Integration
• Writing High Performance Parallel Processing using Multi-Threading and Multi-Processing
• Write user/supporter documentation
• Writing Unit Tests and participating in dev testing throughout the SDLC (SIT, UAT, etc)
• Development environment support (mostly automation using CICD, GIT)
• Evaluate and adopt new dev tools, libraries, and approaches to improve delivery quality
• Perform peer code review of project codebase changes
