DIGITAL PROFILE INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

1) I attended a Digital profile

It lasted for 35-40 mins
First, they asked me to introduce myself
Then TR started asking me questions based on the technical skills I've mentioned in
my resume like CPP from basics to oops, AWS cloud based questions from basics,
IOT since I'm from an ECE background and he asked me to write basic pr PRoblem
solving codes like reversing a string,prime or not,palindrome. They didn't ask me SQL
questions because I didn't mention he asked me questions on my internships and
projects too and he asked what did you learn from your teammates in your project and
how did you lead since you’re the team lead
Later MR took over and he asked few questions like I'm willing to relocate and why
TCS. He asked me questions on SDLC idk why he asked HR questions
Later HR took over this HR round only lasted for like 20 minutes he asked me
scenario based questions like what if there's a deadline and you're on leave but your
boss asks you to finish would you and the other like it's your sister's marriage and
team needs you what would you do and he asked KYT questions of every board
member mentioned in TCS website also he asked me if i had any plans for MS in
future and he asked so you’ll leave TCS later prepare a strong answer to this , he
asked me if at the moment I gave you ninja offer would you take it, he asked me few
things about my native place and my parents occupation. They literally dragged this
ninja offer at the moment thing for so long
And it ended with we'll let you know soon.

PRIME PROFILE INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

Prime profile is the prestigious role any company can give after MAANG.
It wasincludes a strong panel of top employees of TCS.

Okay.. The panel contains three people(1- tech., and 2-H.R. type)

3. How do u think u got shortlisted for Prime(since I'm from EEE)??
4. Did u think u will be shortlisted for Prime??
5. When did u start ur prep for the interview?
6. Explain the final year academic project
7. Explain the internship and the project u have done in it( ML internship and a project
related to it)
8. Why r u choosing a CS related job over a EEE one??
9. Rate yourself w. r. t. DSA, OOPS
10. What type of data structures did you learn?
11. Programs:
a. Swap two numbers w/o using third variable
b. Matrix related( basic one); can we optimize it??
12. DBMS/SQL:
Difference between Primary Key and Unique key and which one can have null
values??
13. OOPS:
Define Inheritance, what is the advantage of it and how do u write it ( I told the
pseudo-code/syntax verbally)

That's all I can remember!!

The Core-related Project explanation took longer than the others, and they asked me to
explain it in Layman's terms!!!
The interview's duration is 40-50 min... That's the bare minimum for the Prime role.
And the duration is longer than that for CS/IT related candidates!!

My interview experience : They asked introduce yourself ,and they asked me what are
the new features added in java 7? Then they asked about collection framework what
are the types, then they asked difference between the Array List and map,and they
asked what is mysql? And they asked types of joins ,and next they Given a situation
told which join you will use ,and they asked me the about projects ,I had done a react
project ,and they asked Why you choose only react ? I told it is component based and
reusability ,And he told angular is also a component based ,,then i aswerd in react has
virtual dom where as Angular have real dom .they asked me differences between
windows 10 and windows 11.then they asked me the linear search code .And HR
asked me your hobbies i told seeing movie he asked which movie you seen recently i
told saalar ,he laughed and he asked some hr questions ,then he told we are done with
you if u have any questions ask then i asked after 5 years how to be in good position
in company ,he answered like dedication bla..bla.I answered all questions but I
selected for Digital.
