I. Methodology of installation for CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION SYSTEM (CCTV)
A. Basic points to consider
* Ensure that the approved shop/schematic/coordination drawings are current and available
with installation team.
* Location/area shall be ready for site installation. Prior to the installation, the area where the
device to be installed shall be inspected to ensure architectural works and finishing are
complete and areas is free from dust.
* Prepare all materials, equipment and tools that will be necessary needed during the
execution time.
* Avoid installing the cameras close to sources of powerful electromagnetic radiation, such
radio or TV transmitters or close to fluorescent lamps or objects reflecting light, or under
unstable light sources, which may cause flickering.
* Drawing installation shall be approved and shall be coordinated with other services.
* Room clearance & proper access shall be provided as per approved program.
B. Major points to consider
* To avoid no link of camera make sure that the connection of IP camera is connected and
properly configured.
* Make sure that the termination of RJ45 Connector is properly terminated and crimped.
* Make sure that the Hard disk Drives are properly installed and initialized inside the NVR’s in
order for the IP cameras to record and have a video playback.

II. Methodology of testing for CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION SYSTEM (CCTV)
* Check & verify the termination RJ45 Connector terminals from POE switches for all the
cameras.
* Check the video cable, either VGA cable or HDMI (digital) video output for signal
attenuation with test camera and portable monitor.
* Checking installation of Network Video Recorder (NVR) and connection to the IP camera to
POE switch.
* Checking and Installing of Hard Disk Drive for all NVR’s.
* Check cable termination of all device units.
* Checking power of all the NVR’s and POE switches.
* Check IP camera for any picture, correct and proper resolution.
* Check focus of all fixed IP cameras and position area to appropriate viewing angle.

SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATION
SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATION:
• To avoid causing of incident need to require PPE for all technical employees.
• To avoid unsigned of CERTIFICATE COMPLITION the QC/QA team, FOG team
and TC team should go early to see the problem on site before the final
walkthrough and ITR with client.
• To avoid falling install devices the technical support need to train how to install the
proper way of installation.
• To avoid late comers and early quitters on site the lead man should have a record
book for monitoring IN and OUT.
• To avoid borrowing of tools all technical employees should have basic tools like
Flat screw, Stars screw, Plier, side cutter and crimper.
• To avoid long used of break time lead man or foreman should conduct every
morning a tool box meeting and to avoid missing of materials.
