MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR
‘You may remember that last year we started a pilot to test a few different ways to recycle
industrial water for reuse. If you haven't seen it yet, | encourage you to reach out to the
recycled water team or check our website for a tour. The pilot is located on the Micron
‘campus and this innovative approach to water is one of the ways we're preparing for a
climate constrained future.
After evaluating a few sites for a future recycled water facil, 'm excited that we've
identified a site near South Eisenman Road - an important step in making a recycled water
program even more real.
‘You have told us how important its to safeguard our natural resources, including water, to
‘ensure a healthy place for our children and grandchildren to live and play. We're working
every day to do that, and | appreciate the partnerships we have developed to make
projects like these a realityBe well, Boise,
Mayor Lauren MeLean
