You are on page 1/ 22

Uploading footage and documents to your Google Drive folder.

In this tutorial, we will teach you how to create,

upload and share your documents through a
Google Drive folder.

For the purpose of this tutorial we will be using

iPhone screenshots, but the instructions remain
largely the same for most devices.

Make sure you have stable internet connection

when navigating through the steps.

1
1. Go to your phone’s app store and search
for “Google Drive”.

2. Download the app.

2
Once the download is finished, go to your
phone’s main screen and open the app.

3
This is what the main screen will look like the
first time you open the app.

1. Click “Login”.

4
1. If you already have an app from Google
where you are already logged in, Google
Drive will most likely skip this step and login
automatically with your current account. If
that is your case, skip to slide 7.

5
1. To login for the first time, insert here your
Google email address and click “Next”.
2. Insert your password next, and click “Next”
to finish the login process.

If you do not yet have a Google account, click

on “Create account” instead and follow through
the steps to create your account for the first
time.

6
1. Click the “+” sign on the bottom right side
of your screen to create the folder where
you will store all of your documents and
sports footage.

7
1. Select the option “Folder”.

8
1. Name the folder in the following setting:
a. First name initial, Last name
b. Sport that you play
c. Country where you are from.

2. Click “Create”.

9
1. Now that your folder is created and empty,
you can click on this “+” and start
uploading your documents.

10
1. Select “Upload”.

11
1. Choose “Photos and videos” if that is
where you store all of your footage and
documents.

2. If you have a file manager app on your

phone where you store your footage and
documents, select “Browse”.

12
1. Give Google Drive full access to your
camera roll or files so that you can upload
your footage and documents.

13
1. Select the files you are going to upload.

2. Click “Upload”.

14
Now that your files are being uploaded, we can
proceed to the next step.

15
1. Click the three dotted icon next to your
folder’s name and select the link sharing
option.

16
1. Select “Link Sharing” and then “Copy link”.

You will need to share this copied link with

your CCI representative through WhatsApp or
email.

17
1. Next, select “Share”.

You are about to make your folder editable.

This step is most important, as we are
about to check your footage and
documents and share them with various
schools. Without this special access, we
will not be able to download your files.

18
1. When you get to this screen, share the
documents with the following email
addresses:

[email protected] and
[email protected].

2. Next, make sure you change the option

right below the email address field to
“EDIT”. It is defaulted to “VIEW”, but in this
setting CCI cannot access and download
your documents.

19
1. Select “Edit”.

20
1. Click the arrow in the bottom of the screen
to share it.

21
Conclusion
Now, all you have to do is share the link for your folder over WhatsApp or email
and keep on uploading your footage to your folder.

We will be checking the folder periodically, so focus on quantity as well as quality

when selecting your footage!
