For obtaining the above-mentioned marks, the following criteria were followed:
1. The population for obtaining the percentile was taken based on the candidates who had
opted and appeared for the subjects as given below:
a. First Subject - PHYSICS (opted and appeared for the examination)
b. Second Subject - CHEMISTRY (opted and appeared for the examination)
c. Third Subject- MATHEMATICS (opted and appeared for the examination)
d. Fourth Subject - Any one Language with higher marks (opted and appeared for the
examination)
e. Fifth Subject - Any other subject other than the above-mentioned four - the subject
with the highest marks is considered (opted and appeared for the examination)
2. The candidate has passed the examination (successful candidate)
3. For candidates who appeared in Class XII Board Examination for the first time in 2023 and
reappeared in ALL subjects in 2024, the better of the two performances is considered.
Based on the above, the numbers for the various categories are given as below for both years
