TOPIC OUTLINE IN FOOTBALL

Week 1,2
I.Origin of Football – I will be discussing this as part of my introduction to the course for the students.

How: Present with a powerpoint or no powerpoint. Then provide a quiz right after, 5 or more items.

These two topics will be presented by the students in a reporting style format, then they will provide a quiz
right after.
II.Facilities and Equipment –
Can make them draw the dimensions of the football field as assignment

IV.Basic Skills – I will discuss this topic along in the field, these includes:
Week 3,4
Passing and Receiving – Inside foot receive and pass, Outside foot receive, Sole Foot Receive, Laces
Receive, Thigh receive, Heading. Design easy drills. Practice Game.
Week 5,6
Dribbling – Outside foot dribbling, Inside Foot dribbling, Inside and outside foot dribble, Laces
Dribble. Practice Games. Design easy drills
Week 7,8
Shooting – emphasize feet placement, laces, and ankle lock and swing, design easy drills
Week 9,10,11
Practice games after.

Assignment
Reflection how important football is for health and what are the health benefits.

Week 12,13,14,15
V.Basic Hand Signals and Application in a game.
