BACKGROUND

A-1 Project description / background
B.G. Technical Limited received an invitation to conduct a site visit for the assessment of a vandalized
pipeline situated at the pipeline right of way behind the OB/OB gas plant. The site visit occurred on
Thursday, January 25, 2024, at approximately 10:50 a.m. The client initiated the invitation through a
mail request, seeking our participation in the site visit and subsequent submission of a quote based on
our contractual obligations for task execution. Wilson Onyebuchi serves as the designated contact
person for the site visit.
1. SCOPE OF SURVEY
Root cause of the pipe damage was human interference through vandalisation.
The section of the pipeline to be replaced was cut off and taken away by the vandals.
There will be a creek crossing of about ±10 meters, which at present is dry.
Some part of the pipeline which originally was on the surface, will now be buried on the
ground. The tie in point at the creek edge, will be excavated to a longer length for
flexibility and the buried to a minimum depth of 1.2m.
There will be Civil work at the creek using BRT net and cement mix to reinstate the work
area.
Obtain FTO
Mobilise her personnel and equipment for the sectional replacement activities
Execute the task, reinstate the site and demob all personnel and equipment.
