Chapter 1 Product Introduction

1.1 Brief introduction
The AGH6200 and AGH6200F portable gas detector are independently developed and
produced by AIYI Technologies, which can be used in industrial sites to detect the risks
of combustible gases, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide and oxygen deficiency. The
overall design of the product is compact, which greatly improves the comfort of the
customer. The high-precision sensor is used for accurate detection and easy mainte-
nance. The IP66 protection grade can be applied to all kinds of bad occasions.
Note: The AGH6200F is a portable combustible gas detector with a measuring range
of 0 to 100% LEL. The AGH6200 is a portable 4 gas detector, the following are referred
to as detectors.

The main functions and features of the product:

The AGH6200F is only equipped with a combustible gas sensor; the AGH6200 is
equipped with four gas sensors: combustible gas, oxygen, carbon monoxide and
hydrogen sulfide. Except for different gases detected, the two operations are
exactly the same. The following is an example of AGH6200. Unless otherwise
specified, AGH6200F is not separately described.

2.1 Packing list

2.2 Power on/off

▎Power on: press and hold the power button, the detector enters the boot pro-
cess, and the full screen flashes 3 times during the boot process, and then displays
the STEL alarm value, TWA alarm value, alarm-1 value, alarm-2 value and calibration
value of each channel in turn.

▎Power off: Press and hold the power button to enter the shutdown interface.
All the indicator lights are turned off, the detector enters the shutdown countdown,
and the display is turned off from OFF 004 to OFF 000. After the countdown ends, the
display is turned off, and the Green indicator keep flashing for about 10 seconds,
then the instrument is turned off.

2.3 Daily use

▎Factory reset: After the boot process is displayed, the detector enters the facto-
ry reset interface. If you need to restore the factory settings, press the function
button twice in rapid succession, otherwise the detector will automatically enter the
main interface.

▎Main interface: The main interface is mainly used to display: gas name, gas
concentration, alarm type, time and battery status. The green indicator flashes at this
time.

▎Fault indication: When the gas sensor is shorted or broken, the corresponding
detection channel has a fault indication, as shown in the figure below. At this point,
the green indicator is off and the yellow fault indicator is keeps on.

▎Alarm indication: When the gas concentration in the environment is more than
alarm value, the detector will give an alarm. At this point, the alarm indicator flashes,
the buzzer sounds, and the detector vibrates. The STEL, TWA, alarm-1 and alarm-2
are shown below.

2.4 Operation

▎Menu：
1.Press and hold the power button to enter the shutdown interface,as shown in
the figure below.
2.During the shutdown countdown process, press the power and function button
at the same time to enter the menu. Menu is shown in the figure below.
3.Short press the function button to select the zero calibration, span calibration
or self-test. The selected icon will flash.
4.Press and hold the function button to exit the menu interface and return to the
main interface. Main interface is shown in the figure below.

▎Zero calibration:

1.After entering the menu, short press the function button to select the zero
calibration, the zero calibration indicator flashes, then short press the power
button to enter the zero calibration interface. At this time, the zero calibration
indicator keeps display, and the span calibration indicator and self-test indicator
are not displayed. Zero calibration interface is shown in the figure below.
2.Short press the function button to select the specific channel, and the gas
name keep flashes.
3. Short press the power button to do zero calibration. If the calibration is com-
pleted, the “End” prompt will be displayed. If the calibration fails, the “Err”
prompt will be displayed, as shown in the figure.
4. Press and hold the function button to exit the zero calibration operation and
return to the main interface.

▎Span calibration:

1.After entering the menu, short press the function button to select the span
calibration, the span calibration indicator flashes, the zero calibration indicator
and the self-test indicator keep displayed, then short press the power button to
enter the span calibration interface. At this time, the span calibration indicator
keeps displayed, and the zero calibration and self-test indicator are not displayed.
Span calibration interface is shown in the figure below.

2.Short press the function button to select the specific channel, and the gas
name in the selected channel flashes.

3.Short press the power button to do span calibration. If the calibration is com-
pleted, the “End” prompt will be displayed. If the calibration fails, the “Err”
prompt will be displayed, as shown in the figure.

4.Press and hold the function button to exit the span calibration and return to
the main interface.

▎Self-test:

1. After entering the menu, short press the function button to select the self-test,
the self-test indicator flashes, the zero calibration indicator and span calibration
indicator keeps displayed, then short press the power button, the detector enters
self-test.

2. The detector will display all the contents in turn, then alarm with sound, light,
vibration once. as shown in the figure.

3.After the self-test is completed, back to the menu interface.

▎Bump test：

1.Refer to indication diagram of calibration adapter and the ventilation, con-

necting the calibration adapter to the detector tightly, and passing the gas of the
specified concentration from the vent of the calibration adapter.

2.In the main interface, press and hold the function button to enter the bump
test preparation interface. At this time, the self-test indicator flashes, short press
the power button to enter the bump test.
3.Short press the function button to select the quick detection zone and the gas
name indicator flashes.

4.After a stable readings, press the power button to enter bump test, and the gas
name flashes. About 15 seconds later, if the test is normal, the concentration
value will flash for 3 seconds, and then the "End" prompt will be displayed. If the
test is not normal, the “Err” prompt will flash for 3 seconds, and then the gas
concentration will be calibrated for processing. If the calibration is successful, the
correct concentration value will be displayed for 3 seconds, and then the “End”
prompt will be displayed. If the calibration fails, the “Err” prompt will flash for 3
seconds, then the “End” prompt will be displayed, followed by the sensor fault as
“---”.

5.The bump test is end and the detector automatically back to the main interface.

2.5 Charging

There is a power indicator in the upper right corner of the display. Please keep
charge in time with original charger and cable when low power. The charging port
is a standard USB charging port. When charging, the charging indicator of the
detector keeps red, and there is also a charging prompt in the upper right corner
of the display. The charge indicator turns green when fully charged.

Do not charge in danger areas.

Please recharge the battery before it is exhausted, or it will reduce
the battery life.

2.6 Data upload

In the power on state, connect the detector to the computer with the Micro USB
cable, and the computer will automatically recognize and display the correspond-
ing drive letter. After double-clicking on it, you can implement data export and
other operations.

Chapter 3 Maintenance
3.1 Cautions

▎Take care to prevent the detector from falling or severe vibration.

▎It is strictly forbidden to expose the detector to a gas with high concentration,
corrosive gas, etc. for a long time, otherwise it will cause a serious damage to the
sensor.
▎In order to ensure the performance of the detector, calibration should be carried
out regularly. The calibration frequency depends on the specific working conditions.
It is recommended to calibrate the detector every 3 months. The calibration record
sheet should be filled in each calibration. Considering if factors such as high concen-
tration impact and corrosive gases happen, it is necessary to shorten the calibration
period. In either case, the calibration period must not exceed one year.
▎Keep the detector clean, and if the sensor vent is blocked, it may affects the
detection sensitivity and even damage it.

▎Replace sensor in time once the sensor life is over. The replacement of the sen-
sor should be carried out under the guidance of the manufacturer or returned to
the factory for replacement.
▎Keep use the origin parts provided by manufacturer while the maintenance and
the replacement of the parts. Otherwise it may affect the performance and safety
of the instrument itself.
▎The operation of the detector, calibration and other maintenance work should
be carried out by qualified professionals.
▎For the faults encountered in daily maintenance, please contact the manufactur-
er in time.

3.2 Warranty

AIYI Technologies promises that the product will be guaranteed for one year from
sale and will be serviced for life. If the product fails or any problem during the use,
please feel free to contact us, we will be happy to provide you with timely and
quality service!
