STEP 1: CREATE YOUR CANDIDATE PROFILE
To start your application, you must first create an online account on the application site join.kedge.edu. Your
online application can be completed in multiple stages. Therefore, you can return to it at any time until the
registration deadline.

During this first step, you will need to choose the training programme to which you wish to apply based on the
selected programme, determining:
- Format
- Teaching language
- Academic year
- Entry level
- Campus and schedule (full-time or work-study)

Required degree levels to access our programmes

→ With a baccalaureate or equivalent, you can enrol in the IBBA in the first year or
the KEDGE Bachelor.

→ With 2 years of higher education or 120 ECTS, you can join the IBBA in the third year.
→ With 3 years of higher education or 180 ECTS, you can apply to enter the MIM track, the KEDGE
Bachelor, or the two-year specialised trainings, starting with a preparatory year (to acquire
managerial skills, know-how, and interpersonal skills, and to develop initial professional expertise)
followed by the specialisation year (Titre, MSc).
→ With a four-year degree (A-levels +4) or 240 ECTS credits, you can apply to enter directly into
the specialisation year of our specialised programmes (MSc or MS programmes).

Choice of campus and language for the two-year programme

In the case of entry into the preparatory year of the specialised programme, candidates must express their
preferences regarding:
→ The campus (Paris / Bordeaux / Marseille) for the first and second years, according to the
available campus(es).

→ The language of instruction will depend on the programme selected in the second year.

3
The final assignment for the preparatory year depends on the availability of slots on each campus and the
programme choice. We close applications as soon as we no longer have availability on a programme or campus.

Foreign candidates (from non-european union countries)

Full-time Format in French and English:
We invite you to contact the training advisor responsible for your area to assist you with administrative
procedures (see List of Contacts). You will also need to provide proof of English
Proficiency for full-time English formats and French proficiency for the full-time French format.
Work-study format in French exclusively:
Non-EU national candidates, whether they are first-time entrants to France or not, must ensure their eligibility
in advance with the contact for their region ([email protected]) or contact
[email protected].
To be eligible for work-study programmes, first-time non-EU national candidates in France must have studied
for one year in France in the year preceding the start of the work-study programme at KEDGE (except for the
MiM, IMPI and Innovation Santé programmes).

Applicants aged 26 and above

→ You can access the work-study programme under an apprenticeship contract until the age of 29.
By exception, up to the age of 35 in the following cases, and on the condition that more than
1 year has not elapsed between the two contracts:
• Apprentice signing a new contract to access a higher level of diploma than already obtained
• Previous contract of the apprentice terminated for reasons beyond their control
• Previous contract of the apprentice terminated due to physical and temporary incapacity
→ You can access the work-study programme under a professionalisation contract, only if you have
been registered with Pôle Emploi for more than 12 months (with supporting documentation). And
with the agreement of the OPCO/skills operator when presenting the work-study opportunity
offered by the company.
Once this step is completed, you can proceed to complete your application file.

4
STEP 2: COMPLETE IPPLICATION FORM

7 steps are required to complete your application file:

Special conditions
KEDGE students are exempt from the 120€ application fee. To benefit from this exemption, please submit your
application using your KEDGE email address. Additionally, KEDGE students continuing their studies receive a
20% reduction on tuition fees.

Motivation
Motivation questions are of great importance; it is essential to take the time to fill them out concisely and
precisely. Your responses may be reviewed by the examiner during the motivation interview. This also serves as
an excellent exercise in preparation for the selection interview that awaits you if your application is deemed
eligible.
Note: These questions must be written in English for programmes taught in this language.

5
Supporting documents
To compile your application, you must gather the following documents:

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS
→ Curriculum Vitae (to be provided in English for programmes taught in the English language)
→ A double-sided copy of your identification document (ID card or passport) with a visible and
legible signature
→ The latest transcripts (current or completed academic year)2
→ Certificate of enrolment for the current academic year if you are currently a student. (or a sworn
statement indicating that you are currently not a student and possibly a work certificate)
→ An English language proficiency certificate is required for programmes taught in English 3
→ The most recent obtained diploma1.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR WORK-STUDY PROGRAMMES FOR NON-EU NATIONALS

→ Valid VLS-TS (long-stay visa serving as a residence permit) for candidates applying to IMPI
and Innovation Santé work-study programmes.
→ Valid VISA for all other work-study programmes, with one year of study in France.

OPTIONAL DOCUMENTS
→ Another diploma (other than the most recently obtained)
→ Letters of recommendation
3. → English language proficiency certificate (optional only for programmes taught in French 1. The most
recent qualification obtained (or final attestation of success):
This refers to the last paper document you received upon graduation. For example, if you are currently pursuing
a ba’helor's degree, your most recent qualification obtained would be a HND or the ba’helor's degree. If you do

6
not yet have the official diploma document, you can attach your attestation of success (a letter from your
school/university or a complete transcript wit“ the "”assed" mention) that certifies your graduation.
ATTENTION: You must be able to provide an attestation of success without reservation, in lieu of your diploma, by
December 31, 2024; otherwise, this could jeopardise your presence in the programme. For work-study
programmes: the attestation of success (or diploma) must be submitted before the start of the programme and/or
the beginning of the work-study contract.
2.
The latest transcripts:
We need all your transcripts provided by your school or university in a single PDF document. Please note that the
current se’ester's report card is not required. For example, for a Specialised ’aster's (MS) application, it is
required to present transcripts for Bachelor 1 (B1), Bachelor 2 (B2), Bachelor 3 (B3), as well as Master 1 (M1),
clearly stating the attainment of 60 ECTS credits per year.

3. English language proficiency certificate:

This document must still be valid, i.e., dated within the last two years. In the case of the specialisation year of an
MSc programme taught in English, you must demonstrate a score of: minimum 785 points on the TOEIC, 79 on the
TOEFL IBT, 6 on the IELTS, Cambridge First (B2), Cambridge Advanced (C1), Duolingo (105), PTE (46).
ATTENTION:
→ MSc Wine and Spirits Management Programme: You must demonstrate a minimum score
of 850 points on the TOEIC or 100 on the TOEFL IBT or 6.5 on the IELTS.
→ MSc Wine & Hospitality Management Programme: You must demonstrate a score of
100 on the TOEFL IBT or 7.0 on the IELTS.
NB: This certificate can be replaced by proof that you have studied for at least one year in a 100% English-
language programme or have worked for one year in an English-speaking country (except for the Wine &
Hospitality Management programme, which will require certification as described above). If you do not have a
valid certificate at the time of your application, you have the option to download a language test appointment to
finalise your application. You will then be provisionally admitted, subject to passing the selection test. The
certificate must be submitted as soon as it is obtained.

7
STEP 3: CONFIRM AND SIYOUR APPLICATION
Before finalising the submission of your application, ensure that you have filled in all the required fields and
paid the 120 euros processing fee.
Please note that once the application is submitted, the 120 euros processing fee is non-refundable. You will
receive a notification from the payment platform and a confirmation of receipt of your application from
[email protected].
Note: Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this email.

STEP 4: ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

Your application is now under review, and the admissions department is verifying the submitted documents
and the proof of mandatory prerequisites.
→ Maximum review period: 5 business days (subject to providing a complete application)
Once the review of your application is complete, you will receive an email notification regarding your eligibility
status.
NB: Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this email.

STEP 5: MOTIVATION INTERVIEW

The interviews take place remotely for the majority of programmes. Once you have provided your eligibility
response, you will receive an invitati‘n from our 'ke’n interview' scheduling platform automatically proposing
the next selection session. The schedule of sessions will be displayed on the programme pages of our KEDGe
website.
Our advice:
→ Log in 10 minutes before the start of the interview.
→ Ensure that your camera and microphone are functioning properly.
→ Prefer using a computer over a smartphone.
NB: Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this email. Once the date and time slot have been set,
remember to consider the time zone difference if you reside abroad.
Attention: We draw your attention to the fact that in case of two unexcused absences after being summoned
for the selection test and motivation interview, your admission may be cancelled. Your presence at these
stages is essential for the smooth progress of the admission process.

Process
PREPARATION EXAM
For certain programmes, you will receive a topic to address freely before your interview. The written topic can
take various forms: open-ended questions, text synthesis, case study, multiple-choice questions... There are no
available past papers to prepare for this written component. It serves as an introduction to support your
application.

ORAL DEFENCE
The oral test takes the form of a motivation interview. It is important to prepare for it with the same diligence
as a job interview. Pay special attention to this interview, as it will be the decisive element for your admission.
What we expect during this interview:

8
→ A clear and well-developed professional project related to the chosen specialty.
→ A summary of your background and strengths that relate to the chosen specialty.
→ Your expectations regarding KEDGE Business School and the skills you wish to develop.
through the programme.
NB: The interview is conducted in English if you have applied for a programme taught in English and in French if
you have applied for a programme taught in French.

STEP 6: ARE YOU ADMITTED?

Once these assessments are completed, you will receive an email from the admissions department indicating
whether you have been accepted into the programme or not. Response time: the week following your
selection. For more information, refer to the selection schedule on kedge.edu.

STEP 7: CONFIRM YOUR ADMINISTRATIVE ENROLLMENT

In the case of admission, you will receive an invitation to log in to your future registration space. Online
registration is a mandatory step to confirm your spot for the upcoming academic year and access all of KEDGE's
resources.
To complete your online registration, you have: A period of 10 days from the date of your admission letter to
log in to your extranet (registration space), provide the requested information, and pay the deposit (no deposit
will be required for first-time work-study entrants).
Beyond this date, your admission will be considered void.
Information regarding deposits and refund procedures:
To assist you with these administrative procedures, we invite you to consult the welcome website. Remember
to regularly check your received emails, including spam.
Once you have completed your online registration, you will have access to the Virtual Campus intranet to:
→ Explore our internship and work-study offers
→ Access information about the programme for the upcoming academic year
→ Associated services (for example, housing services).

Specificities of work-study programmes

We draw your attention to the fact that:
Being a candidate, eligible, and admitted does not mean that your place in the work-study programme is
automatically confirmed. Your place will be definitively confirmed based on the number of available slots in the
programme, upon validation of the WORK-STUDY WELCOME SHEET, and compliance with the deadline(s) for
presenting an opportunity (specified on WELCOME, VIRTUAL CAMPUS, and in communications sent by the
Work-Study Service).
We remind you that:
Without a company, you cannot join work-study training programmes. Indeed, work-study programmes can
only be joined if you propose and validate a work-study opportunity, as mentioned above. For any questions
regarding the implementation of your work-study contract, you can contact: [email protected]
