    Project Title: Redesign of KLOK High Performance Butterfly Valves. Synopsis: Optimize the current design of a valve for cost saving up to 15-20 %( size range 230) Responsibilities: Prepare an analytical model.

    Develop optimized concept design within specification mentioned by standards using. Reusability of existing components. FEA/ Analytical modeling for validating the design. Check for castability using casting simulation software. Ease of assembly. Laying out testing procedure as per standard and conduct test. Developing machine drawings with use of GD&T Environment: Solidworks, Ansys Workbench, CFDesign, Adstefan

    Project Title: Resilient seated butterfly valves Synopsis: Troubleshooting leakage issue in some sizes. Provide new cost effective Design of seat to prevent leakage. Responsibilities: Developing a comparative study using FEA. Root Cause analysis. Proposing a solution with minimum possible cost increase. Validating the new design using FEA ,proto type & testing. Environment: Pre-Processing: Solidworks, Post-processing: Ansys Workbench.

    Project Title: KGF knife gate valve sleeve gate design (simulate the gate closing simulation). Synopsis: Validating the best design from the proposed design concepts of rubber sleeve and gate using FEA Responsibilities: Running a nonlinear dynamic contact and material analysis in ANSYS workbench. Developing a data sheet of all the effective factors for selection of the best design. Choose the best design with low stress and strain values from the designs.
