Flush Innova Veneer Doors
Introduction:
Innova veneered flush doors are designed for internal use only,
and must not be exposed to or installed in damp ambient
conditions, including where wet trades have recently been
active. Door faces are
factory lacquer finished, enhancing real wood veneers laid
‘edge to edge’. Doors within this range have a factory applied
solid timber lipping to both vertical edges, which require site
decoration. The door must
be fully sealed on all edges, especially on the top and bottom.

Environmental Certification:
Doors are manufactured under the formally audited
Environmental Standard BS EN ISO 14001. All materials used
are from known managed sources, including some formally
certified components. In
addition, particularly for use within “sustainable” projects,
General Product hollow core doors carry full Chain of Custody compliance, PEFC
& Quality Spec certification (SGS-PEFC/CoC 0090).

Dimensional tolerances apply as follows:

Tolerance EN1529 Measurement Method
Width +/- 1.5mm EN 951
Length +/- 1.5mm EN 951
Thickness +/- 1.0mm EN 951
Squareness 1.5mm EN 951

Quality:
Manufacture is controlled against a formal quality management system, ISO 9001. At supply, door faces
and edges will be visibly defect free, when viewed from 2 meters distance. The moisture content of all
timber components is critically controlled in line with the industry norm, based on BS EN 942. Door faces
will not exceed 8%-12% moisture content at time of despatch.

Details of applicable product warranties, including qualifying terms and conditions, are available from
the current Doorex Range Guide or website. Alternatively contact Doorex’s Technical or Sales Team
for specific guidance.
Standard Innova Veneer Options
As standard the veneer species available are; European Ash with a American Walnut inlay, and White
Oak with a Bubinga inlay.

Innova veneered flush products are selected as a commercial log run quality. Door faces will be
appropriate to the veneer as advertised, but no specific matching is committed or intended for our
standard range. Edge lipping’s are hardwood to compliment the face veneer.

Packaging and Product Identification:

Doors are clear plastic wrapped for surface protection. A Product Code or ID is ink marked on the doors
top edge, together with lock side indicator if relevant.

Fire doors:
FD30 products carry a uniquely numbered identification label applied to the top door edge, indicating
compliance with type testing under BS 476 Part 22. All Fire doors are also BWF Certifire accredited. The
tamper proof label should not be altered or removed, even after installation.

Glazed doors:
No glazed options available for this product range.

Constructional specification:
This document contains standard product drawings with, optional core constructions, door weights, and
a product summary of the range see Annex A, or contact Doorex for more information.

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this information. In the interest of continuing

Tradition and modernity come together in wood, a living element that lends it self to creating varied and
high-quality surroundings. DOOREX factory is not just another run of the mill manufacturer placing
products on the market; we are manufacturers who work together with our customers to implement
architectural designs.

The type of technical joinery we manufacture is designed to provide service and we manufacture
products from all kinds of natural wood faced board and wood composite faced board which become
a high quality alternative for some species.

For antique finishes, we use natural wood and wood core boards to design a variety of finishes and
patterns that resemble historic doors, especially suitable for hotels and antique institutions.

Wardrobes and Furnishing Units Wardrobe Interiors and walk in wardrobes

Given the wide variety of wardrobes available on the

market, when choosing the most suitable one you have
to think about not only your budget, but also about your
storage, organization and space requirements.
Made to measure wardrobes different from ready-made
ones in that they are manufactured exclusively to fit the
measurements of the space where they are to be fitted.
They offer aesthetics and finishes that standard
measurement models can not, and moreover are
designed to make best use of the space available.

Door opening systems

There are different opening systems for wardrobe doors,
and we list the most common ones below:

Sliding doors:
these doors hang on a guide rail and slide back to the
left and the right. They are recommended for rooms
where space is limited since they do not take up extra
opening room. They allow only a partial view of the
inside of the wardrobe or cupboard.

Hinged doors:
the left or right handing of these types of doors requires
free space in front of them, so they are more suitable
for large rooms. By opening the doors fully, the whole of
the inside of the wardrobe can be viewed.

Folding doors:
these types of doors also require free space in front of
them but not so much as hinged doors, since each door
folds back into two panels. The whole of the inside of Wardrobeinteriorsand walk in wardrobesmanufactured to customerdesign.
the wardrobe can be viewed when these doors are fully
open.

What makes DOOREX Wardrobes different is that the customer

can specify every aspect of the unit, including finishes in
melamine, natural wood-faced board, the colour of the frame,
decorative framing details, types of door, internal dividers, etc.
Making each space unique. Moreover, we can manufacture the
units to match the design used for fire resistant interior doors and
front doors, so that all the joinery work formsa unified whole.

- Another distinguishing feature of Wardrobes is that they are

made to measure, So do not require sub-frames or walls and
can be fitted in any part of the room with their own partitions.

- Another area to highlight is hotel and residential furniture which

Doorex manufactures to order, working together with architects
and interior designers. We put our production facilities at their
disposal to manufacture headboards and writing tables that
match the door and wardrobe designs, thus creating a
harmonious unit. Patterns and materials can be chosen to give
each space its in dividedly entity.

DOOR CONFIGURATIONS AND HANDINGS SADD+OP DOOR HANDINGS

We use a door handing system based on BS EN 12519:2004, where the

hinge knuckle side of the door is referred to as an ‘opening face’, and the
frame door stop side of the door is referred to as a ‘closing face’.
All typical door configurations can be produced to meet a building’s operational
requirements.

Standard options are displayed below, including single and double acting doorsets, all of Closing face Closing face

which can be supplied with overpanels. The handing of the door is then determined when the doorset is viewed from
the closing face of the door, as follows:
Overpanels are typically of the same construction as the door leaves, separated by a SINGLE LH RH
transom of the same specification as the timber door frame. Glazed units can also be DOORSETS

BS EN 12519 Conflict with BS8300 & Building Regulations - (England & Wales) - Approved Document ‘M’.

BS EN 12519 : 2004 defines the clear opening width as a fixed dimension between the faces of the frame door
stop.

BS 8300 : 2009 defines the clear opening width as a variable being the effective opening after the deduction of
projections into the BS EN 12519 clear opening space. To assist identification, of the requirements, (pending
amendmentof these standards) this document refers to the BS8300 clear opening width as the ‘User Space’.

The ‘User Space’is a variable that is influenced by the following:

• The position of the door leaf when in the open position.
NOTE: If the door is opened to the point where the heel of the door aligns with the face of the hanging jamb doorstop the ‘User
Space’ is equal to the clear opening.
• Door thickness.
• Doorstop dimensions.
Double acting single doorset Double acting single doorset with Double acting double doorset • Location of the pivotcentre of the hanging device.
overpanel Dotted line denotes unequal pair • Projectionof hardware (e.g. lever handles) into the clear opening space.
Overpanels can be glazed or unglazed NOTE: Generally this consideration does not apply to single action overhead closers or other devices that would not normally
encroach into the ‘User Space’.
