Preface
Dear Readers,
Welcome to “The Legacy of Vedic Engineering for Modern Applications”. This book is
an exciting voyage into the eternal wisdom of Vedic engineering and how it can
be applied to the present day. The Vedas are ancient Indian scriptures that
cover many subjects including engineering principles that have stood the test of
time.
When we explore the heritage of Vedic engineering, we uncover deep insights and
innovative techniques developed thousands of years ago. Natural phenomena,
mathematics, architecture, environmental sustainability were well known by the
Vedic sages including natural phenomena, mathematics, architecture and
sustainable living.
In this book we seek to reconcile between ancient wisdoms with modern technologies
through their continued relevance in application of these Vedic engineering
principles. It is our intention to provoke new thinking on engineering and
innovation by combining historical perspective with scientific analysis and
practical illustration.
The Legacy of Vedic Engineering for Modern Applications" is a thought-provoking
expedition beyond time and cultures aimed at students, engineers, historians or
anyone fascinated about how traditional knowledge meets contemporary
science.
