Note: Uninstall current version of Panasonic Audio Player 2 before installing the latest version.

Installation instruction for Windows


1. Please run self-extracted file panasonic_audio_player_2_win_1_0_0_1.exe that is the
distributed as a compressed archive file.
2. Double click the Setup_PanasonicAudioPlayer2.exe file in the folder that opened in
step 1 to open the installation wizard.

If a software use confirmation pop-up dialog opens, click [Run] or [Yes] to continue with
installation of the file.

3. Select the language and click [OK].


4. Click [Next].

5. After confirming the contents of the License Agreement, select “I accept the
terms in the license agreement” and click [Next].
6. Click [Install].

7. When the wizard completion dialog is displayed, click [Finish] to complete the
installation

Finally, the Panasonic Audio Player 2 will be available in computer Program list and can be
executed.
For instructions on how to use the software, read the manual
(PanasonicAudioPlayer2_UserGuide.pdf).

To check the installed version


To check the Panasonic Audio Player 2 version that is installed to your PC, select ‘Control
Panel’  ‘Programs’ and select ‘Programs and Features’. Check the Panasonic Audio Player 2
version under version column.

Installation instruction for Mac

1. First, unzip panasonic_audio_player_2_mac_1_0_0.zip that is the distributed as a


compressed archive file.
2. Double click the SetupPanasonicAudioPlayer2.pkg file in the folder that opened in
step 1 to open the installation wizard.

If a software use confirmation pop-up dialog opens, click [Run] or [Yes] to continue with
installation of the file.

3. Click [Continue].
4. Select the language. After confirming the contents of the License Agreement, click
[Continue].
5. To confirm the contents of the License Agreement, click [Agree].
6. Select the destination and click [Continue].
7. Click [Install].
8. If the following pop-up message is displayed during installation, enter the
account password and click [Install Software].

9. When the wizard completion dialog is displayed, click [Close] to complete the
installation

Finally, the Panasonic Audio Player 2 will be available in Application list and can be executed.

To check the installed version


To check the Panasonic Audio Player 2 version that is installed to your Mac, select ‘Go’ 
‘Applications’ and select ‘Panasonic Audio Player 2’. Check the version from ‘File’  ‘Get Info’.

Important points
- For a Windows PC, if you use this software in connection with the Panasonic products, you
will need a dedicated USB driver from http://www.panasonic.com/support.
- The corresponding sampling frequency and the number of quantization bits of the
music files to play are limited to the specifications of the product to which you want to
connect. Please read the product shipped with the instruction manual for connection
details.
- For a Mac PC, if the Gatekeeper setting is anything other than “Allow applications download
from anywhere”, warning message will display. In this case, click [OK] to close the warning
message. And control-click the file and choose [Open] from the menu. When the warning
message displays, click the [Open] button.
