Host 1: Hello, good morning, everyone. To all attendees of today’s seminar, kindly

Host 2: Good morning, everyone and I warmly welcome you all to Taguig City
University’s Graduate School Capability Seminar and Training presented and organized by
TCU’s School of Graduate Studies. I know everyone is excited about today’s seminar and
training but first, I would like to request for university’s AVP, Dr. ______ to lead the prayer and
conduct the Philippine National Anthem and Taguig Hmyn.

Host 2: Thank you everyone for attending today’s seminar. I’m pretty sure everyone will
learn a lot from this event. And to commence this day’s symposium, may I call on Dr. Juan
Birion, our Vice President for Academic Affairs for an opening message.

Host 2: Thank you for the note-worthy message you shared Dr. Rosales.
Before we move on to the next part of the session, there’s something I’d like to
confirm firsthand from this generation’s workers. It is said that this generation’s workers are
perseveringly industrious. Is that true? Well, I know it’s true because the country’s GDP by
Expenditure approach 10 years ago was at 2 trillion PHP and guess how much we ended last
2023? Does anyone know? We’re at 7 trillion PHP. That was just a quick trivia, anyways, so
much for that. May I call on our very own Charmaine Vizcayno, HR Admin and Recruitment
Assistant in Actron Industries Inc. and an MBA Student here in Taguig City University to walk
us through with the Objectives of this seminar and training.
Charmaine Vizcayno: Thank you for the introduction, Nash. Hi everyone, as of this moment, I
will walk you through with some of the objectives of this Seminar and Training which are as
follows.
1. Understanding the Importance: Educate participants on the significance of achieving a
healthy work-life balance, including its impact on overall well-being, productivity, and
job satisfaction.
2. Identifying Personal Values: Help participants identify their personal values and
priorities in both professional and personal aspects of life to align their goals with their
core beliefs.
3. Recognizing Warning Signs: Enable participants to recognize signs of imbalance such
as burnout, stress, and dissatisfaction in either work or personal life.
4. Exploring Strategies: Introduce various strategies and techniques for managing time
effectively, setting boundaries, and prioritizing tasks to achieve equilibrium between
work and personal life.
5. Implementing Boundaries: Guide participants in establishing clear boundaries between
work and personal life, including techniques for disconnecting from work during personal
time.
6. Promoting Self-Care: Emphasize the importance of self-care practices such as
mindfulness, exercise, hobbies, and social connections in maintaining a healthy work-life
balance.
7. Managing Workload: Provide practical tips for managing workloads, delegating tasks,
and saying no when necessary to prevent overcommitment and reduce stress.
8. Fostering Flexibility: Encourage participants to explore flexible work arrangements and
negotiate with employers for accommodations that support their work-life balance needs.
9. Building Support Networks: Discuss the value of building supportive relationships both
within and outside the workplace to create a network of encouragement and

Enterprise Capital Bank Inc. and a TCU MBA Student.
Mark Regala: Ladies and gentlemen, our today’s Guest speaker has had 10 years of professional
experience in end-to-end talent acquisition from different line of business such as start-up
recruitment firm, shared services, start-up fintech company and banking and financial industry.
Within those 10 years, she has had an experience in leading a team of Talent Acquisition Partners
and Onboarding Specialists. Not only that, but she has also been a speaker for different
Universities and Organizations for seminars similar to this event and graduation exercises as
well.
