2. Pupils read out their list of occupations.
3. Pupils get a worksheet and listen and repeat 8 occupations.
4. Pupils look at 8 pictures of 8 different occupations.
5. Pupils guess the occupations based on the pictures.
6. Pupils work in pairs and discuss 5 different criteria that suit 5 different occupations and justify by giving at least

DEVELOPMENT 7. A few pairs share their criteria with the class.
8. Pupils describe John’s personality in about 50 words to their partners and state whose personality is the exact
opposite of John’s.
9. Pupils work individually and choose an occupation that interests them and then act it out. Their classmates will
guess by asking questions.
10. Pupils discuss in pairs at least 2 essential characteristics to be successful in one’s chosen field.
