Task: 20

AI (Artificial Intelligence) TOOLS – ChatGPT

Task 20: Prompt Engineering: Experiment with different types of prompts to see how the model
responds. Try asking questions, starting conversations, or even providing incomplete sentences to
see how the model completes them. Ex: Prompt: "You are a knowledgeable AI. Please answer the
following question: What is the capital of France?"

AIM: Using ChatGPT to analyze Prompt Engineering: Experiment with different types of
prompts to see how the model responds. Try asking questions, starting conversations, or even
providing incomplete sentences to see how the model completes them. Ex: Prompt: "You are a
knowledgeable AI. Please answer the following question: What is the capital of France?"

PROCEDURE:
Prompt Engineering :Prompt engineering is the process of structuring text that can be interpreted
and understood by a generative AI model. A prompt is natural language text describing the task
that an AI should perform.
Prompt engineering is an artificial intelligence engineering technique that serves several purposes.
It encompasses the process of refining large language models, or LLMs, with specific prompts and
recommended outputs, as well as the process of refining input to various generative AI services to
generate text or images. As generative AI tools improve, prompt engineering will also be important
in generating other kinds of content, including robotic process automation bots, 3D assets, scripts,
robot instructions and other types of content and digital artifacts.
Types of prompt engineering
In its simplest form, prompt engineering is writing text to feed to an AI model. But several forms
of prompt engineering can impact your success. We cover some types of prompt engineering you’ll
use when working with AI-generative models.
Text completion prompts. Text-based prompts tell the AI to complete a sentence or phrase. For
instance, you can input the text, “The dog ran fast because,” and prompt the language model to
complete the sentence.
Instruction-based prompts. This prompt type uses explicit commands or instructions to help
guide the AI response. For example, you can instruct the AI to act as a user interface (UI) designer
for the rest of the interaction, telling the AI to use language like a UI designer and help the user
deal with their design problems.
Multiple-choice prompts. This prompt helps constrain the output of a language model. Offering
multiple choices and requesting the model to confine itself to a single answer lets you limit the
output and pick the most appropriate response.
Contextual prompts. These prompts provide contextual clues to the language model. This series
of prompts build on each other and guide the model’s decisions and thinking in a specific direction.
Bias mitigation prompts. These prompts help refine the output of an LLM to avoid any bias. Test
different prompts to check for potential biases and make modifications to account for those
problems.
Fine-tuning and interactive prompts. This type of prompting helps you iteratively refine
prompts by looking at output and making wording changes to improve the output and model
performance. Fine-tuning also allows you to train the model to produce better output for a specific
set of prompts.

Generative Pre-trained Transformer:

Generative pre-trained transformers (GPT) are a type of large language model (LLM) and a
prominent framework for generative artificial intelligence. They are artificial neural networks that
are used in natural language processing tasks. GPTs are based on the transformer architecture, pre-
trained on large data sets of unlabeled text, and able to generate novel human-like content. As of
2023, most LLMs have these characteristics and are sometimes referred to broadly as GPTs. The
first GPT was introduced in 2018 by OpenAI. OpenAI has released very influential GPT
foundation models that have been sequentially numbered, to comprise its "GPT-n" series. Each of
these was significantly more capable than the previous, due to increased size (number of trainable
parameters) and training. The most recent of these, GPT-4, was released in March 2023.Such
models have been the basis for their more task-specific GPT systems, including models fine-tuned
for instruction following—which in turn power the ChatGPT chatbot service

Google Bard: Best for Real-Time Information From the Web

Bard is Google's AI chatbot. Powered by LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications),
the company says Bard "can supercharge your imagination, boost your productivity, and help you
bring your ideas to life."
Bing Chat: Best for Edge Users
Microsoft's AI chatbot is called Bing Chat. It's tied into the Bing search engine, so it's always
accessing the internet to give updated results.Although it's similar to Bard, I like that with Bing
Chat it's easy to switch between Chat and Search if one feels like it'd be more useful than the other.

AnonChatGPT: Best for Using ChatGPT Without an Account

If you want to use ChatGPT without logging in, AnonChatGPT is your best bet. It simply forwards
all your prompts to ChatGPT's servers and then displays the responses. I like this because my
personal information is not shared with ChatGPT, but I still get all the basic
benefits.AnonChatGPT is based on OpenAI's GPT-3 model, but the user interface isn't quite the
same. Only one conversation can be had at once, so past responses aren't stored to look through
later. Just refresh the page to start a new conversation.
Copy.ai: Best for Summarizing Text
Copy.ai offers way more than just text summarizations, but I mention this first because it really is
awesome at it. I have found it super useful for really long essays, blog articles, and lists I just don't
have the time to fully read.

Character.AI: Best for Character-Based Conversations

Character.AI is "building the next generation of dialog agents." Put simply, it lets you chat with
an agent that's preconfigured as someone specific—a celebrity, religious figure, and a game
character are a few neat ones I tried. The chatbot gives off the illusion that you're chatting with
that character.
iAsk.AI: Best AI Search Engine
Some AI tools that can search the web don't discriminate, meaning they use the whole internet in
each search. This might be helpful sometimes, but other times it doesn't make much sense to do
so. iAsk.AI is built differently to target forums, academic sources, books, or wiki pages.

Task 21: Creative Writing: Use the model as a writing assistant. Provide the beginning of a story
or a description of a scene, and let the model generate the rest of the content. This can be a fun
way to brainstorm creative ideas Ex: Prompt: "In a world where gravity suddenly stopped working,
people started floating upwards. Write a story about how society adapted to this new reality."

Using any GPT model Such as ChatGPT, Bing and Bard

ChatGPT works by attempting to understand your prompt and then spitting out strings of
words that it predicts will best answer your question, based on the data it was trained on. While
