Next, I would like to talk to you about how Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce Education
Cloud can help us streamline the knowledge management process in educational institutions,
particularly at UTAR FICT.

As you may know, there are four processes of knowledge management: knowledge creation,
knowledge coding, knowledge sharing, and application. These platforms can support all of
these processes in various ways.

First, both platforms can support the creation of new knowledge through collaboration and
centralized databases. With Microsoft SharePoint, students and faculty members can work
together on projects, share ideas, and contribute to creating knowledge. Meanwhile, the
Salesforce Education Cloud offers a platform for storing and sharing data, generating reports,
and creating educational content.

Second, while SharePoint may not have coding capabilities, it is compatible with other
Microsoft applications like Visual Studio, which can be used for writing code. On the other
hand, Salesforce Education Cloud offers a no-code interface for creating educational content,
which means that teachers do not require coding skills to develop instructional materials.

Third, both platforms offer features for sharing knowledge, such as wikis, blogs, and
discussion boards. Microsoft SharePoint also provides a platform for exchanging knowledge,
allowing users to work together on projects and discuss best practices. Similarly, Salesforce
Education Cloud offers a platform for exchanging knowledge and resources among users.

Lastly, both platforms can support the application of knowledge through access to resources
and insights based on data analysis. Microsoft SharePoint gives teachers and students access
to information and resources pertinent to the challenges they are trying to address, while
Salesforce Education Cloud provides insights based on data analysis that can be used to make
educated decisions about curriculum creation and academic achievement.

In conclusion, Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce Education Cloud are powerful

applications that can help us manage knowledge effectively. SharePoint's concentration on
collaboration makes it an excellent choice for producing and sharing knowledge, while
Salesforce Education Cloud's emphasis on educational content and evaluation tools makes it
a good fit for academic settings. I believe that UTAR FICT should consider deploying either
one of these platforms to support its teachers and students in creating, storing, sharing, and
using knowledge, thus facilitating knowledge management.
Next, we're going to talk about the potential of Salesforce Education Cloud in revolutionizing
the educational experience at UTAR. Salesforce Education Cloud is an innovative platform
that enables universities to scale their operations, be adaptable, and integrate with other
Salesforce Clouds and third-party partners.

But implementing such a system requires careful planning and consideration of the specific
requirements and conditions imposed by the university. That's why UTAR needs to conduct a
needs assessment to identify areas of improvement and pain points in the admissions and
student services processes.

Once the needs assessment is done, goals and targets for deploying Salesforce Education
Cloud should be formulated, aligning with the institution's mission and strategic plan. But
success also depends on the willingness of faculty and staff to undergo training to properly
integrate the platform.

Rigorous testing and refinement are necessary before the system is fully implemented.
Ongoing help and training should be provided to faculty and staff to make the most of the
platform's capabilities.

Ultimately, the success of the rollout depends on proper planning, organization, and
monitoring of acceptance rates and addressing any issues that arise. By adhering to these
principles, UTAR can make the most efficient use of its resources, which will, in turn, lead to
better outcomes for its students and a higher level of participation from its faculty and staff.

Thank you for your attention, and we hope to see the potential of Salesforce Education Cloud
fully realized at UTAR."
