Spreadsheet Test Step Doble ProtectionSuite 3.0
This is a new kind of test step. This is similar to a document step in that, All Levels
when it runs, the tester can enter data that gets recorded in the .psx file, as with Configure the Spreadsheet Protection Suite will import Excel spreadsheets
any other test. It even shows multiple test runs in history, as with any other test. (and .cvs files) directly into the spreadsheet test.
This step is for measuring and tracking regulatory compliance.
Instead of a series of steps, the test runs with all cells that are not locked.
You can put formulas in cells, and can freeze rows or columns, so they retain
position when you add more.
Add Spreadsheet Step You can build the spreadsheet by hand, or can:
Import a .csv file
Cut and paste data from another spreadsheet
Bring the data in from Excel
This example shows importing an Excel spreadsheet.
Result After Importing Data
The Spreadsheet has an option, “Request PassFail status”, like the Document step.
The spreadsheet supports embedding standard formulas, so the test designer Cells can be merged, text centered, and given background colors.
can have fields that get updated with values, as the tester inputs values. There is an Autofit option for labels that are too big for a cell.
The spreadsheet test designer can lock down cells, making them
unchangeable. Select the cells, then click Lock Cells. A small ball icon
in the corner of the cell shows that it is locked.

structure that mimics the nesting of the original databases.
You can have as many SV source sets as you want. You are limited to two SV sets
if you are also using conventional sources. Otherwise, you can have three sets.
