Die indirekte Rede (reported speech oder indirect speech) verwendest du, um

darüber zu berichten, was jemand sagt oder denkt. Dafür benötigst du ein
einleitendes Verb (z.B. say, think, state, tell sb, write, ask, answer…)

1 Steht das einleitende Verb im simple present , dann bleibt

Wenn du in die indirekte Rede umwandeln
willst, gelten die gleichen Regeln, die du für Aussagen kennengelernt hast.

1 Wandelst du Fragen ohne Fragewort in indirekte Fragen


um, dann verwendest du „ob“ (= whether, if).

3 Wandelst du Aufforderungen (commands) um, werden


zwar die Pronomen und Zeit- / Ortsangaben angepasst, ein
backshift der Zeiten ist jedoch nicht nötig. Verwende einfach
,,to“ + Grundform.
