Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Backend Software Developer Intern to join our
team. As a Backend Software Developer Intern, your main duties include contributing to the
development of software applications, participating in agile development processes &
applying user centred design principles under the guidance of experienced developers.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, and learn from seasoned

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the development of commercial web applications.
2. Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs
under the guidance of senior developers.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and
implement features.
4. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the quality and
reliability of backend systems.
5. Learn and utilize relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools for backend
development.
6. Support ongoing projects by troubleshooting issues, providing technical assistance, and
proposing innovative solutions.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in backend development, and actively
seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.

8. Communicate effectively with team members, share ideas, and contribute to a

9. Participation in meetings, contribute to the development of features, and may work on side
projects to improve existing processes or develop new functionalities.
10. Learning & applying user-centred interaction design principles.
11. Engaging with modern web frameworks and technologies.

Requirements:
1. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, in a related
field.
2. Motivated to learn new technologies & frameworks.
3. Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and
willingness to learn new technologies.
4. Problem-solving skills and eagerness to tackle technical challenges.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
7. Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
