Abstract: Now a day’s everyone is in search of enhancing oneself to lead a high standard lifestyle by
presenting oneself in perfect manner. So the turning point which individual goes through is by moving on
from one recruiter to another whenever he/she starts up with a new move. The first impact is created as soon
as one presents himself in front of the recruiter during an interview. A professionally created resume is the
foremost requirement to land your dream job.An online resume builder is a website developed to simplify the
task of creating a resume for individuals. This website provides an effective means of designing desired
resume and is flexible to be used and reduces the need of thinking and designing an appropriate resume
according to qualifications. Usually individuals get confused while creating a resume and they don’t have a
clear idea of what things and information must be included in a resume to grab the attention of the hiring
manager. User visits the site then in accordance with their choice they choose a particular template wherein
user can create, modify and edit the resume and an auto generated resume is provided in PDF or Image
Format.

I. INTRODUCTION
In this modern age where everyone is busy, engaged, looking after for some alternative and feels like to live the life to the
fullest but wherein dwindles into the scenario. Resume is the first meeting between you and a prospective employer more
often now than ever. So, how do you want to be remembered? Wrinkled and unorganized, neat and structured, long and
boring, precise and interesting! A poorly made resume creates a bad impression and lowers your chance of getting selected
in the interview.Companies do not have the time to interview every applicant that is interested in the job. If they did, there
would not be a company to work for. They use an eliminating process. That's right - resumes. When a job seeker wants to
apply for a job online then generally he/she needs to attach his/her resume with the email. Online Resume Builder website
provides the users the popular resume formats & a better way to show their resumes to the employers.
A job seeker does not need to attach a resume with every email, he/she just have to include the URL of his/her resume
and the employer can view the resume online by clicking on the link and can download in an appropriate manner. The main
objectives of the online resume builder is to manage the details of Resume, Job, Individual, Skills, Qualification. The
purpose of the project is to build an website program to reduce the manual work provides instant resume and reduces tedious
work in thinking. It tracks all details about the Individual, Skills, Qualification and required details from the template as per
the user’s requirement.
This project is user-friendly and requires minimum human intervention. Individuals just have to fill up a form and they
get their resume within short span of time in either PDF or Image format. Hence the system is developed to provide them
an easy way for creating a professional looking resume.

II. FEATURES
1. Resume Form: Users on selecting the template they will be given an online form which they will be filling which
may include few personal details like Contact, My skills, Interest, Objective, Education, Experience, Achievements
and much more.

2. Selection of Templates: Ours site has categorize templates into three parts Standard, Generic and Classic Resume
pattern.

3. Resume Builder: On filling the details the system stores the data & within a short period of time a well organized
resume is generated.

4. Choice of File: User has a option in which manner he/she wants to get their resume generated i.e. either in PDF or
Image Format.

III. LITERATURE REVIEW

Long back resumes were created manually by using M S Word and the format at that time was quite different. These are
the fields that applicants use to mention in their resume, in personal information applicant use to write their name, address,
phone number. Applicants also used to mention their personal opinion in their resume that time applicants used to mention

their both early and recent education details. Applicants used to create either too short or too long resumes because at that
time their were no standard set for ideal length.
The advent of the Web brought about major changes in the way people search for jobs and companies look for suitable
candidates [1]. Our tool is designed to conduct a thorough review of a user's LinkedIn profile and provide best
recommendations for improved online resumes by analyzing a large number of online user profiles. [1]
We use vector to present job and resume and the core part is the Genetic Algorithm. [2] In addition to the professional
resume builder, the suite contains a portfolio builder; training in interview skills; tools to assist in writing effective letters,
developing a video resume, and skills assessment; and a website builder for the online presentation of proficiencies and
abilities.[3]
The portfolio builder helps you create an online gallery of your work that can be downloaded as a PDF format. Online
portfolios document your education, work samples, and skills.[3]
The portfolio builder provides information on organization, project tools, image displays, and how to share your
portfolio.[3]
We started by using a naive, frequency-based skill ranking approach, which resulted in the most generic skills ranked on
the top. We then adapted a number of alternative metrics and compared their performances on a number of job titles.[4]

VI. CONCLUSION
The online resume builder is one of the most fantastic systems for the people who are either freshers in their domain or if
they don’t have enough idea about the resume or don’t have enough time to create the resume of good designs or patterns,
then this platform is a very productive place for them. It saves a lot of time and is cost-effectively.Our project is only a
humble venture to satisfy the needs to manage their project work. Several user-friendly coding have also adopted. This
package shall prove to be a powerful package in satisfying all the requirements. The objective of software planning is to
provide a Framework that enables the manager to make reasonable estimates made within a limited time frame at the
beginning of the software project and should be updated regularly as per project progresses.
