1. Vlog Making Activity on 'My City: Ranchi'
Each group will make a vlog of 2 minutes on different aspects of their city. Later, it will be
compiled into 1 vlog of 12 minutes with music and voiceover.
Each class will be divided into 7 groups all together. Each group will have a ‘group head’.
Areas for Vlog Making:
i. History of the place
ii. Natural beauty
iii. Tourist places
iv. Religious places
v. Tradition and culture
vi. Handicraft
vii. Cuisine
Each group will submit their respective vlogs after the vacation in a pen drive and then it will
be compiled by the ‘group heads’ and presented in the classroom.
2. A day in my life
Take pictures of yourself while doing various activities amidst nature. Compile it in the form of
a PPT. Also add background music to the same. The slides should not be more than 15.

1. Prepare a spiral of square root in A4 size paper design it properly with the help of thread,
sketch pen and beautiful pictures.
2. Conduct survey of 2 to 3 houses and generate electric consumption chart and draw a bar
graph day wise for at least 10 days (on daily basis).
* Where X-axis represents date and
Y - axis represents units.
* Write at least 5 ways to reduce electric consumption.
* Write adverse effects of misuse of electricity.

Physics
Make a short video (not more than 10kB) on different folk dances of Jharkhand and Telangana
and classify the various types of motion (Kinesthetic movements) involved in the dance forms.
Mail it to the respective subject teacher.
Chemistry
 On a map of India, mark the places which have important mines in the state of Jharkhand
and Telangana. (Map work)
 Which minerals are found in Jharkhand and Telangana? Also write the prominent
properties of these minerals and their uses. (copy work)
 Collect the minerals of Jharkhand and arrange in Pandora box.
Biology
Construct or sketch any two miniature model of traditional storage structure for harvested
grain used in Jharkhand and Telangana by the local population. Compare the advantage of
traditional storage over modern storage method.
Instruction:
 Reasearch - Visit a nearby village, collect information and original model of storage device.
 Material used for construction - Mud, Straw, Clay or Plaster of paris. Decorate it with
traditional art work.
 Material used for sketching are- A4 sheet, colours for decoration with traditional art work.
 Two models from each state.
 Comparative study about their advantage will do in A4 sheet.
SOCIAL SCIENCE
History/Civics
Our living memory ‘Dharohar’ – Paste a family heirloom or a picture of it (if it is expensive) and
paste on any sustainable item like jute, bamboo or cardboard. Write 3 to 5 points about the
memories or emotions associated with it.
Geography
Trace the map of India on a chart paper. Mark the major Physical Features using clay/ different
coloured cottons/ millets. Paste it on hard surface or card board. (do not use thermocol).
 Economics
 Make a model or blueprint of any startup you would like to build as an entrepreneur.
Highlight how it would integrate the various factors of production and make a video of it.
 Visit a departmental store. Make a layout of the different sections in the store and the kind
of products displayed there (3 examples from each section). As a consumer recommend
any 2 changes that would make the store more appealing to the customers.

1. You will be passing out of school soon. How would you like to be remembered at school, by
your teachers and your juniors? Make a list of the three things that you would like to be
remembered for, along with their associated behaviours and the values they represent. Make it
in an A-4 size sheet.


