Work you’ll do
• Perform extensive literature and financial data searches using online databases, the Internet, print materials,
technical reports, scholarly journal articles, and original source material.
• Make logical associations across multiple research and workflow processes in order to reduce the amount of
time required to attain proficiency with similar assigned duties.
• Format and ensure accuracy and consistency of data through careful execution of process.
• Identify and resolve issues with data quality by monitoring and profiling information to look for outliers using
standard firm systems and tools.
• Gather external validation using third party databases and external sources.
• Work towards developing higher level of knowledge of the team’s different processes.
• Self-train on supplemental skills for research and workflow methodologies through self-educational courses,
publications, etc.
Functional:
• Consistently follow pre-defined, repeatable research, data management and workflow processes.
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of all available client, vendor, people, entity, opportunity data.
• Ability to gather and document complex client requirements and provide user support.
• More than 1 year hands-on experience in data profiling techniques like investigating data for errors,
inconsistencies, redundancies and incomplete information.
• Execute processes ensuring data integrity within standard and non-standard firm systems and support linkage of
internal and external data sources.
• Improvements techniques for conflicting or incomplete data and process to designate clients for efficient
research (e.g. private entity, public entity, fund etc.).
• Advanced understanding and 1-3 years in using CDI methodologies to design, implement, and improve the Data
Hubs.
• Advanced understanding and 1-3 years of relevant experience in Client Segmentation techniques and knowledge
on internal and external information sources (examples include: D&B Hoovers, Compustat, EDGAR, Merger Stat,
etc.).
• Basic understanding and over 6 months exposure of BPI methodologies (e.g., V-Model, DMAIC, Six-Sigma) to
optimize utilization, increase throughput (workflow), and improve quality, will be added advantage.
• Providing Exceptional Client Service: Manages self and work towards becoming a subject matter expert and point
of contact on the assigned processes.
• Creating Quality Deliverable: Follow Reviews deliverables of self and actively follow and help in implementation
and enforcement of high standards for quality deliverables contributing towards process excellence, focus on
quality and strict adherence to governance guidelines and standards.
• Work closely with industry leaders to help categorize companies into specific industries as per Deloitte's industry
alignment.
• Supports basic extract, transformation, and load (ETL) of external information into common storage platform.
Technical:
• 1-3 years of relevant experience on any of the below given platforms:
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Location: Hyderabad
Work timings: 2 PM to 11PM
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information/ General Science/ Commerce and Business Administration or related
field; minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience.
