 Any changes that you need making to your post processor will need to be
changed in the CGD file. It is a good idea to have this backed up

3. We will now Compile this file to create the files necessary so it can be used in Edgecam

4. Click the [Compile] button

 This will compile the necessary files in the following location:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\Vero Software\<VERSION>\Edgecam\cam\machdef
 If this location does not exist then you may have selected to use Public documents upon
installation of Edgecam. If this is the case then the location will be:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vero Software\<VERSION>\Edgecam\cam\machdef

✓ If you are using a network location then these files will then need to be Moved (Cut & Paste) into
that location.

5. Your post is now compiled and ready to use. If anything is changed in the master CGD file then you
will need to compile it again to ensure you are using the most up to date files.

Adding an Image to the Machine Manager

1. To add an image to the Machine Manger we first need a .jpg image of the Machine. This .jpg can be a
screen shot from within Code Wizard or could be an actual image of your machine taken with a
camera.

 Note that the image has to be a .jpg type file

2. Rename the image that you have with exactly the same name as the Post Processor file in the
Machdef folder. Now Copy/Move that image into the Machdef folder where you have your Post
Processor saved.

3. If you now check your Machine Manger you will have the image appear. Or check Create Sequence
in Edgecam.
