DATE AND TIME RECEIVED:


1. Items no. 1 and 2 were received from SPO3 DOMINADOR DE LEON of San
Pablo City Police Station on May 16, 2023 at 8:58 a.m.,
2. Items were received from DEBORAH BORJA of NBI, Laguna on May 17, 2023 at
5:45 p.m.
PURPOSE:
1. To determine whether evidence one (1) cartridge case marked as “JZB-8-09854”
was fired from the same firearm as standard cartridge case marked as “K-97-1”.
2. To determine if the evidence cartridge case fired from the same firearm as the
standard cartridge case.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSION:

1. A comparison between a standard cartridge case with the marking "K-97-1" and the
evidence cartridge case with the inscription "JZB-8-09854" showed NEGATIVE
outcomes. The evidence-gathering cartridge was not fired from the same firearm as
the standard.

2. An assessment across a regular cartridge case marked “K-97-1” and the evidence
cartridge case designated “JZB-8-09854” came up with NEGATIVE findings. The
cartridge used as evidence was not discharged from the same weapon as the
standard.

REMARKS:

Until their release is approved, the submitted evidence is being held at our office. There are
two (2) pages in this report.

standard cartridge case.
2. Comparative examination made between the evidence cartridge case marked as
“JCE-1-051823”, and a standard cartridge case marked as “T-98-1” revealed
NEGATIVE results. Said evidence cartridge case was not fired from the same
firearm as the standard.

REMARKS:
The specimen submitted is being retained in this office until their release is authorized. This
report consists of two (2) pages.
