Course Overview
By understanding the fundamental mathematical underpinnings of signals and systems, you
will be better prepared to handle these duties. We will look at the many features of signals
and systems, characterization of linear time invariant systems/time variant systems,
convolution, Fourier series, and transform, as well as Sampling theorem, Z-Transform,
correlation, and Laplace transform. The concepts covered in this course are relevant to later
courses in electronic/ electrical engineering that cover control systems, communication
systems, digital signal processing, statistical signal analysis, and digital message delivery.
Additional ideas like signal sampling and aliasing are introduced. Pre-requisite subject
