Introduction

In this lesson, you will be demonstrating your knowledge on the content of the English
Subject for the Primary and Intermediate levels in the Elementary and apply appropriate teaching
strategies through your teaching demonstration practicum.

CURRICULUM
Preliminaries:
 During the walkthrough session on the curriculum guide for English Elementary,
you are already expected to have identified possible topics for this demonstration
teaching.
 Before the actual teaching, you are expected to have presented your lesson plan to
the professor for preliminary checking of your lesson and teaching strategies.

Acquisition of New Knowledge

The pandemic that world is facing today has significantly affect the way we do things in
education. While teaching and learning process may still continue despite the phenomenon, it is
undeniable that it brings some changes in the way we do things in terms of teaching. Thus, it is
necessary for you as pre-service teachers to understand different modalities in teaching so that
you can be able to contextualize or integrate your teaching strategies on the various modes of
teaching.
