Read the passage the below and answer the questions that follow;
51. Our plane had just landed. We were to undergo several security checks
before leaving the airport. Police officer dogs were directed at our luggage.
Security agents searched our bodies with metal detectors. This was
compulsory because the crime rate has risen.

While in the queue, I saw a particular lady who had sat next to me in the
plane. Throughout the flight, she had not mentioned any word to me. May
be she could not speak any of the languages Ugandans speak. “Hold for
me this handbag. I would like to use the washrooms” she said as she put
her small bag on my shoulder. She was so much in a hurry that the luggage
and dropped down. All the people around could sense that it was unusually
heavy. “Come back!” I shouted to catch her attention and that of the
security officers. To my surprise the lady ran and disappeared. I sensed
danger and shouted at people to move away from the luggage that was on
the floor. The police moved swiftly and stopped her.

Soon sniffer dogs were searching her bag as I watched from a distance.
The dogs barked uncontrollably. When the police moved to inspect the bag,
they found cocaine carefully tacked in.

My heart almost stopped beating when a man was arrested. The face, nails
and hair were exactly like those of the woman who sat next to me in the
aeroplane. This man had disguised himself as a woman. He was handcuffed
and taken to the police station. He had committed a serious crime. A week
later, I was summoned to appear before court as a witness. The thought
o0f how drug abuse has wasted the lives of many people gave me courage
to stand before the judge and testify against him.
