A. Motivation
 Ask: Have you ever experience a Typhoon? Do you remember Typhoon Ondoy
turned Manila into a large city of water? What is the reason why Manila is being
flood?
B. Activity
 Present a situation that shows a violent action by Human of disposing Materials. Let
the Pupils Identify what they can do when they see some wrong disposal of garbage?
o Disposal Garbage in the Sea
o Throwing garbage in any places
o Not minding of stray garbage
o Putting Chemical into the sea
o Burning plastic Materials?
 This are all improper Disposal of Materials
 Present the video clip about the “Solid waste Management”
C. Analysis
 What are the things classify as Waste Materials?
 What is a ZERO WASTE MANAGEMENT?
 How do we manage our waste Materials Properly?
 Should there be a punishment of improper wasting materials?
 What do you think is the Impact of Managing our waste Materials
D. Abstraction
 Summarize the lesson using visual materials on the Waste Materials.
 Call on two –five volunteer to wrap up the lesson by their own experience of wasting
materials
E. Application
 Have the students work in 4 groups and do Task 7 (3r’s Charts)
 Assign particular task for each group.

 Assign a Group leader to explained and present your work in the front of the class

 Pair Work: Design and make a garbage bin. You may recycle a big can, Plastic cover
container or a box. Be sure to make a cover for it. You may wrap it up with white paper
or cartolina. Make some design to make it look attractive
