B. Sign up & Log in​
1. Sign up​
For the new user, please visit our Merchant Sign-up Page, to sign-up an account with email or
phone number.​
2. Log in​
Please use the email/phone number you used for account sign-up to log in our system.​

3. Sub-account​
If there are multiple people in your company need to manage events through our system, we
would suggest you create sub-accounts for different people to use. So that different people
can log in the system at the same time. ​
How to create sub-accounts:​
I. Once you log in with your first account(main account), please click the account name at the
right top on the page, and choose "Account Mnagement" ​
II. Click "Add sub-account"

III. Create sub-account​


Sub-accounts can be created with email, phone number or customized user name. ​

IV. Account access​


Currently, please assign "Admin" access role for all sub-accounts to make sure all account
can manage the event.​
C. Event Merchant System​
The Event Manage page of the system​
1. Navigation Bar​
For user who only use the system to create and publish event info, please choose "My
Activity", "Events Management" in the navigation bar to enter the Event Manage page. ​

If you want to explore more of our service or system features(eg. Sell your event ticket
through Klook),please contact us through [email protected].​
2. Search Bar & Filter​
You can search and find your events by searching "Event ID", "Event Name" or using the filter. ​

3. Event List​
Show all the events you created on Klook system.​

◦ Published Language​
To present your event to the customers in appropriate languages, we provide you the
capability to edit the event info and content in multi-languages. So if you want to attract
different customers with different language preferences, you can choose to publish the
event in both English and Chinese.​

Every single language version will be managed separately. So you can edit the content
and manage the visibility of each language individually. ​

In the event list,the published language will only show the languages that are published.​

◦ Event Status​
Please see different event statuses and their meanings as below:​
Status​ Meaning​ How to switch to this status​
Draft​ You haven't filled in all necessary info, so the Once the event is created and saved, but not
event is still a draft version. You cannot submit filled in all necessary info.​

Ready​ You have filled in all necessary information,When you have filled in all necessary event
and the event is ready for you to submit for information, the status will switch to

Pending​ The event has been submitted for review. Once you submit a Ready event, it will

Rejected​ The event is rejected by Klook during the If klook rejects your review request, the

If there are multiple language versions under one event, it will show the status of the
language that has high priority。The status priority is as below:​
Published>Unpublished>Rejected>Pending>Ready>Draft​
Eg. ​
If there is one language that is under "Published" status, no matter what status other
languages are under, it will show "Published". ​
If there is one language that is under "Unpublished" status, and all other languages are
not under "published" status, it will show "Unpublished".​

◦ Manage Event​
For the events that have been created, you can find them in the event list. And if you click
the "Manage" button of that event, you will see this manage page. Within this page, you
could check and change the status, edit the content, publish/unpublish of each single
language. ​
D. Create and Publish Your Event​
1. Create Your Event​
a. Basic Info​
◦ Event Title:The title of the event. It will shown on the top of the page​
◦ Event Format:Choose the format for the event. The format will be one of the angles that
customer will use to filter and find the event. You can refer to below introduction to
choose​
Format​ Example & Note​
Concerts​ Concerts of big stars or musicians, eg: Concerts of Blackpink, Katy Perry, Beyonce ​
Instrument concerts or Orchestra, eg: Lion King OST concert, Beethoven orchestra​
Exhibitions​ Exhibitions of different IP, art or culture. Eg: Comic Con, Gallery, Van Gogh
Exhibition​
Festivals & Carnivals​ Festival activities, like music fesitval, art festival.​
Different Carnivals​
Markets​ Eg. Christmas Market, Artcraft Market​
Pop-up​ Pop-up events like pop-up show, pop-up merchandise shop​
Installation​ Installation or decoration in the Park, Shopping Malls of a specific theme. Eg:
Harbor City Christmas decoration, IFC Halloween decoration ​
Online Event​ Events that are held online. Eg: Online Concert, Online Workshop​
Show​ Different shou and performance. Eg: Musicals, Broadway shows, Drama, ​

Tournament​ Tournament of different sports. Eg: Football match, basketball match, Tennie

◦ Published Language: Language of this content version​


◦ Online Registration/Ticketing URL: To insert the link that you want to direct the customer
to registrate or buy ticket for the event​

b. Event Location​
This part of information is to show the customer where this event will happen​
i. Online/Offline Event: To choose if this event happens online or offline​
ii. Event Country & City: Label the country and the city of this event. It will also determine
which city page this event will be presented ​
iii. Venue: To fill in the venue name where this event happens (if has)​
iv. Address: Detail address of the event​
v. Map Positioning: To map the address to Google map so customer can ​
vi. If it's an online event, you just need to select the avaible country and city​

How it looks like for customer:​


c. Time​
This part of information is to show when this event will happen​
i. Event Date: The date event is happening (If there are multiple date periods, can add
separately)​
ii. Event Time: Exact time when the event is happening (If there are different time
sessions for different dates, please indicate here)​
iii. Event Duration: To tell customer how long this event will last for each session (can skip
if it's a full day event)​

d. Event Banner
The banner photo of the event​
i. Vertical Banner (show on the event detail page and event city page)​
ii. Horizontal Banner (Show on the search result page)​

e. About the Event​


More detail information to tell customers what this event is​
i. Entry Fee​
Please choose whether this event requires entry fee. If it does require but the price is
not confirmed yet, please choose "To be announced"​
When filling the price, please indicate the currency first. And if there is only one price,
you just need to fill it in the lowest price​

ii. Tag​
To label the event, use the tag to attract customers' interest​
Can add 2 tags at most​

iii. Event Detail​


To introduce the detail of this event. We would suggest to have below info:​
1. Introduction content and picture​
2. Event detail (name, date, time, address, etc.)​
3. Notification​
4. T&C​

How to input the Event Detail:​


• After you type the content, you can choose to make the content show as title or
paragraph ​
• You can insert hyperlink and picture​
• When need to list different points, can use bullet point or sequence number​

iv. About organizer​


To introduce the event organizer if need​
Same editing tool as "Event Detail"​

v. Gallery​
You can upload the pictures of the event to the Gallery for customers to view. (Pictures
you upload in "Event Detail" will be shown here​
You also can add/delete pictures, edit the sequence as well. ​
How it looks like for customer:​

f. SEO​
Help to improve SEO performance in search engines like Google, which will make it easier
for customers to find this event through search engines​
This part of information is optional. If you are not familiar with SEO, our SEO specialist will
help to handle this part.​
i. SEO Title: The page title shows in the search result​
ii. SEO Meta Description: Description shows in the search result​
iii. SEO Keywords: What keywords customers can use to search this page​
2. Save & Submit for review​
At the right bottom of the editing page, you will see a "Save" Button. You can only save when
you have filled at least the event name, event format, date and map positioning. ​
If you have filled in all necessary info, you can also submit for review once you saved. ​
If you choose to go back to Event Manage or click the Manage button in Event list, you will see
below event manage page.​
You can edit, submit for review, check the event page link here within this screen.​

E. Review​
Once you submit the review, you will be able to see the latest update by clicking the "Status
History" in the Event Manage page. ​
If we have approved the review, the event will be published automatically. If we reject, you will
receive an email with the explanation. For this case, you can update the content according to
the rejected reason and then re-submit.​
1. Content Review​
We will check the content info of this event to see whether there are some sensitive content
that are not appropriate to show to our customers. (eg. Content of violence, discrimination,
etc.) ​
2. SEO Optimization​
During the review, we will also help to optimize the SEO setting for the event, to help it to
have better SEO performance.​
3. Review Status​
Once the review request is submitted, there will be three different status. Pending means the
request is submitted successfully and it is pending on Klook review. Published means the
event has passed the review and has been published on Klook. Rejected means Klook didn't
approve the review request, you can check the notification to see the reason behind. Once
you update the content according to the reject reason, you can re-submit the review request. ​
During the Pending status, you will not be able to edit the content of the event until the
review is finished. But if you need to edit something after you submit the review, you could
choose to withdraw the review to edit, and then re-submit after the update.​

F. Edit After Published​


1. Content Edit​
When you need to edit the content of an online event, you can click into the event manage
page and click "Content Edit" of that language. Once you have updated and clicked save, it
will not update the online version directly. Instead, it will create a new draft version. And you
will need to submit this new draft version for review first. After the review is approved, it will
replace the previous online version. ​
When under this case, you will see this version shown as Ready status with a hint. The hint
will explain that this status means you have two versions of this language now, one online
version and one draft version. Only after the draft version has passed the review it will switch
back to "Published" Status. And under this status, if you click the "Event Link" it will show the
preview of the draft version. ​
Besides, you can also choose to unpublish the online version during the edited draft review if
you don't want customers to see the old version before the new version online.​
2. Common Content​
Some parts of the content will be shared between multiple languages, which means if you
have edit those content in one language, it will sync the same content in other languages as
well. These parts include:​

◦ Event Country & City​
◦ Map Positioning​
◦ Event Date​
◦ Entry Fee​
◦ Currency​
◦ Ticket Price​

3. Postpone & Cancellation​


If the event is going to be postponed or cancelled, please Do Not unpublish the event.
Instead, please add the latest updates and announcement on the page, so customer would
know what they need to do.​
We would suggest to put this part of info on the top of the event detail with below contents:​
• Background​
• How to handle existing sold tickets​
• T&C​
G. Multi-language​
When you need to add more than one language for an event, you can find the add language
button on the top right of the Event Manage page. You can click this button and choose the
language you want to add to start editing that language version.

H. Unpublish the Event​


You can choose to unpublish the event if you do not want the customers to see it anymore.​
When you do it, you will need to indicate the reason of unpublishing. But please also note
that for below reasons, you don't actually need to unpublish the event:​
• Event Expire: If the event has expired (ended), it will be disappeared from our event list page.​
• Event Postponed or Cancelled​
