essay with proper structure and organization.

On a ¼ sheet of paper, answer the following questions.

B. Acquisition
“Basic Parts of an Essay”

Introduction: The introduction is the first part of an essay, and its


primary purpose is to engage the reader and provide a clear thesis
statement. The introduction typically includes a hook, background
information, and a thesis statement.

Body: The body of an essay consists of multiple paragraphs, each


presenting a main idea or argument. The body paragraphs are structured
to develop and support the main points, providing evidence and
examples to strengthen the argument.

Conclusion: The conclusion is the final part of an essay, and its primary
purpose is to summarize the main points and restate the thesis
statement. The conclusion should leave a lasting impression on the
reader and provide a sense of closure.

Essay Parts Scavenger Hunt


Title: Exploring Climate Change: A Call to Action
 The students will be divided into 5 groups.
 Identify and label the specific parts of the essays (introduction,
body paragraphs and conclusion).
 Each group will present their findings and justify their choices.

1. Application the content into meaningful real-world contexts

On a ½ crosswise, write an essay about the “Happiest moment of your


life” with the use of proper structure of an essay and organization.
