Abstract
There are numerous frameworks for the curriculum creation process. Many
frameworks have been proposed by Graves (1996) for the process of curriculum
building and course design, which are split down into their components and
sub-components. Such frameworks are useful because they provide an
organized way for teachers to understand a complex process; they provide
domains of inquiry for teachers, through which each component brings up ideas
and raises issues for the teacher to pursue; and, finally, they provide a set of
terms currently in vogue about course development, creating a common
professional jargon and providing access to the ideas of others. This paper
attempts to explore the various models involved in language curriculum
creation when all of these models are highly valued.
Analysis: What best insights or learnings can you deduce from this study?
The best insights or learnings I can deduce on this Study According to the findings
of this study, the process of curriculum development and course design is
complex, necessitating a methodical and well-structured approach. The usage of
frameworks, as recommended by Graves, can help guide this process. They serve
to break down the complexity into digestible components and sub-components,
providing teachers with a road map to follow.
Implication: How may the results of this study be utilized in teaching language
arts among the young learners of the 21st Century. What specific findings can
best be derived and applied in time of your preparation becoming a future
educator?
* As a future educator the study findings may be used in teaching language arts to
young learners. First, utilizing an organized approach to curriculum building. This
includes establishing specific objectives for each class as well as a well-planned
sequence of activities.
Finally, embrace constant learning. This entails constantly looking for ways to
improve your teaching methods and remaining current on educational trends.
My Reflection
My reflection on this Study research is that the frameworks that have been
proposed thus far for the process of developing language curricula are useful in
providing a systematic approach to a difficult undertaking.Different models have
been put out for the procedures involved in creating language curricula, and all of
these models heavily overlap one another.According to Graves (2000), planning
for one component of a course will affect other components, so demonstrating
how one part.
