Are you Overwhlemed By ICT Blocks? Don't know


how to use them? Don't know when they are Valid
from when they Are Not?

ICT Blocks are a really Important part of ICT trading.


People Make them complicated when they are Really
Simple To Understand. I have Prepared this Cheat
Sheet To Make It easier to Understand as well as I will
explain In detail Below what they are and when they
are valid from when they are not.

A Thread
‣ Definition and Examples of the Blocks:

Bullish Order Block: The Lowest Candle or Price Bar


with a Down Close that has the most range (More
Body Less Wicks) between open to close and Is near
or In a HTF PD Array.
Bearish Order Block: The Higest Candle or Price Bar
with a Up Close that has the most range (More Body
Less Wicks) between open to close and Is near or In a
HTF PD Array.

Bearish Breaker Block: Bearish Range or Down close


candle in the most recent Swing Low after an Old high
got violated.
Bullish Breaker Block: Bullish Range or Up close
candle in the most recent Swing High after an Old Low
got violated.
Bullish Mitigation Block: This Is a Block Where Price
Traded into a HTF Level, Formed a LTL and then a
Failure Swing Low, Take out the Short term High for a
MSS and then Retrade into the High in which we are
focusing on the last Upclose candle to be our
Mitigation Block.
Bearish Mitigation Block: This Is a Block Where Price
Traded into a HTF Level, Formed a LTH and then a
Failure Swing High, Take out the Short Term Low for a
MSS and then Retrade into the Low in which we are
focusing on the last down candle to be our Mitigation
Block.
‣ Criterias For Validation Of These Blocks:

Valid Order Block:


⬨ Must Hit Some Higher Timeframe PD Array
⬨ Must Have Displacement of up to 3 Heights away
from the Block.
⬨Must have a Large Candle Body And Less Wicks
⬨Respects the Mean Threashold

Invalid Orderblock:
⬨Small Candle with more wicks and less body
⬨ Candle Did not trade into HTF PD Array
⬨ Order block That Is against Market Orderflow
⬨Traded through the Mean Threshold Closing in the
Order Block

Valid Breaker Block:


⬨Price Must Previously Trade Into HTF Objective
⬨(Bearish BB) = Form Swing Low > Run Buy Stops >
Break Swing Low > Reprice To Swing Low > Expand
Lower.
⬨(Bullish BB) = Form Swing High > Run Sell Stops >
Break Swing High > Reprice To Swing High > Expand
Higher
⬨Higher Probability when In line with a FVG

Invalid Breaker Blocks:


⬨Breaker Blocks that are Against Orderflow
⬨Didn't previously trade up into a Area of Interest
⬨ No Displacement forming FVG

Valid Mitigation Block:


⬨Traded into some HTF PD Array
⬨Formed A Failure Swing Low or High
⬨ Price broke the Short Term High Or Low with
Displacement
⬨Price re-trade into Mitigation block Not Breaking the
Body
