25. How would you prioritize tasks if faced with conflicting


deadlines?

The interviewer may ask you this question to assess your ability to manage multiple

Example: “When faced with conflicting deadlines, I prioritize tasks by assessing the
urgency and importance of each task. First, I evaluate the impact that completing or
not completing a task will have on the organization. If there is an immediate need to
complete a task in order to meet a deadline, then it takes precedence over other
tasks. Secondly, I consider the resources available to me. If I have limited resources, I
focus on those tasks that can be completed quickly and efficiently. Finally, I look at
the long-term implications of my decisions. If one task has more potential for future
success than another, I prioritize that task first. By taking these steps, I am able to
effectively prioritize tasks when faced with conflicting deadlines.”
