WHEREAS, the Barangay Council deems it necessary to allocate a budget for the
procurement of HAPAG equipment to support the sustainable development of the program;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that said budget shall be utilized exclusively for the purchase of
gardening tools, seeds, seedlings, and other necessary materials needed for the
implementation of the HAPAG program;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Barangay Treasurer
for appropriate action and to all concerned barangay officials for their information and
guidance.

BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. _______________
WHEREAS, the Philippine flag is a symbol of national unity, patriotism, and pride,
representing the sovereignty and identity of the Filipino people;
WHEREAS, it is the duty of every citizen to honor and respect the Philippine flag as a
manifestation of their allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines;
SECTION 1: All residents of Barangay Laguma shall pay respect to the Philippine flag as a
symbol of national identity and unity.
SECTION 2: Every Monday of each week of the month shall be designated as Flag Raising
Day in Barangay Laguma. During this day, all residents are required to participate in the flag-
raising ceremony, regardless of their location, whether in public spaces or within their
respective households.
SECTION 3: During the flag-raising ceremony, the Philippine National Anthem shall be
broadcasted through the barangay's public address system or "trumpa" to ensure that all
residents can listen and participate in singing or observing a moment of silence.
SECTION 4: Every Friday of each week of the month shall be designated as Flag Lowering
Day in Barangay Laguma. Residents are likewise requested to show respect during the
lowering of the Philippine flag until the national anthem is completed.
SECTION 5: The Barangay Council shall oversee the implementation of this ordinance and
may issue guidelines and directives necessary for its enforcement.
SECTION 6: Penalties Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be
subjected to the following penalties:
3. Third Offense: Fine of not less than 100.00 pesos and community service, such as
participating in barangay clean-up activities or beautification projects.
SECTION 7: This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its full publication in
accordance with law.

Title: Barangay Ordinance Prohibiting the Use of Public Roads and Highways for
Drying Crops
Whereas, the safety and well-being of all residents within our barangay are of utmost
importance;
Whereas, the practice of drying crops on public roads and highways poses significant
risks of accidents and hazards to both motorists and pedestrians;
Whereas, the use of large stones to fasten tarps for drying crops on public roads and
highways further exacerbates these risks;
Whereas, it is imperative to regulate and mitigate such practices to ensure the safety
and orderliness of our community;
1.1. It shall be unlawful for any individual, household, or entity to utilize any portion of public
roads and highways within the jurisdiction of Barangay Laguma for the purpose of drying
crops.
1.2. The use of large stones or any other materials to fasten tarps or drying apparatus for
crops on public roads and highways is strictly prohibited.
2.1. Drying of crops shall be confined to designated areas approved by the Barangay
Council. These areas may include solar dryers or other suitable facilities provided by the
barangay for such purposes.
3.1. Upon observation of a violation of this ordinance, the Barangay Tanod or any authorized
barangay official shall issue a warning to the offender for the first offense.
3.2. For the second offense, the offender shall be fined an amount of One Hundred Pesos
(Php 100.00). This fine shall be payable to the barangay treasurer within seven (7) days
from the issuance of the citation.
3.3. In the event of a third offense, the crops being dried in violation of this ordinance shall
be confiscated by the barangay authorities. Confiscated crops may be disposed of or
redistributed at the discretion of the Barangay Council.
4.1. The Barangay Council shall conduct public awareness campaigns to inform residents
about the provisions of this ordinance and the importance of compliance for the safety of the
community.
4.2. Informational materials such as posters, flyers, and announcements shall be
disseminated to all households within the barangay.
Section 5: Effectivity
5.1. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its approval and posting in
conspicuous areas within the barangay hall and other public places.
5.2. All previous ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance
are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
