Used to

Used to refers exclusively to things that happened in the past with a certain
frequency but don't happen anymore -or at least not as often as before-. It is
followed by a verb in its base form.
I used to play soccer every day after school.
I didn't use to have a job when I was a teenager.
I used to hang out with my friends on weekends.
I used to play video games when I was a teenager.
I didn't use to swim on Fridays before (but I do now).
When I was a child, I didn't use to watch a lot of television.
I used to go to the gym in the mornings but now I go in the evenings.
