and the virtual connectivity of Zoom, the RC Makati convened MODERATOR INVOCATION
its 29th regular luncheon meeting on April 23, 2024. This
distinguished gathering, graced by the esteemed presence of District
3830 Governor.
The proceedings commenced with Pres. Bing Matoto's call to order,
setting the tone for an afternoon of meaningful engagement. Sec. Regi
Ponferrada expertly moderated the event, ensuring its smooth f low
and efficiency.
The proceedings opened with a poignant invocation guided Sec. Regi PP David Ackerman
Ponferrada
by PE Keith Harrison, offering reverence to the fellowship, and
emphasizing the fundamental principles of Rotary service. Against PRESENTOR INTRODUCER
the backdrop of April's recognition as Environment Month, members
were prompted to engage in thoughtful introspection regarding
environmental concerns.
The meeting also witnessed the recognition of Paul Harris Fellows,
including esteemed members like PP Jun Jun & Cecille Dayrit, Pres.
Bing Matoto, Rtn. CB Rivilla, and Arman Cataga.
Followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement and
turnover of donations to deserving causes. A significant donation was PDG Tony Quila PDG Pepz Bengzon
made to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, represented by Msgr. Pedro
Gerardo Santos, outlining a book reading project aimed at advocating
child protection principles and rights. With a donation of 70,000
pesos, the initiative seeks to engage parish volunteers, train them as
Child Protection Advocates, and provide enriching opportunities for
children's holistic development. Additionally, the Dualtech Training
Center Foundation received a generous donation, presented by Mr.
Jefferson Gonzales, supporting the education of five promising
scholars; John Mario Alojado expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God
and the RC Makati for the opportunity to pursue education at DualTech,
Janrick Paul Espiritu emphasized the value of the opportunity given
