The first chart shows reason for people choosing cycles to go to work in
the UK. The second chart gives reasons for those who choose to go to
work by car.
The highest percentages of people who favour cycling say that they prefer
it because it is healthier and reduces pollution and both groups account
for 30% each. A significant proportion (15%) think that cycles are easier
to park, whereas 13% considers that it involves no running cost. At the
bottom-line are those who think that they can reach their destinations
faster by cycles than cars, at 12%.

rose dramatically in 2000 when it accounted for 22% of the expenditure.
In contrast, expenditure on health and human resources showed an
opposite trend, as it rose to 20% by 1990 before decreasing to only 10%
by the end of the period. Environmental services and other services
received the least funds by the local authorities in Canada and they
always remained below 10%.

The four pie charts compare the electricity generated between Germany
and France during 2009, and it is measured in billions kWh. Overall, it can
be seen that conventional thermal was the main source of electricity in
Germany, whereas nuclear was the main source in France.
The bulk of electricity in Germany, from a total output of 560 billion kWh,
came from conventional thermal, at 59.6%. In France, the total output
was lower, at 510 billion kWh, and in contrast to Germany, conventional
thermal accounted for just 10.3%, with most electricity coming from
nuclear power (76%). In Germany, the proportion of nuclear power
generated electricity was only one fifth of the total.

The pie charts show the average consumption of food in the world
in 2008 compared to two countries; China and India.
The given pie charts show the average food consumption around the
globe and two countries namely China and India for the year 2008.
Overall, it is clear from charts that processed food was the most
consumed item all across world and the two countries mentioned.
People ate almost 41% processed food in the world in 2008. This
percentage was higher in India than China at 39% and 34% respectively.
At the second place, 29% vegetables and fruits were consumed by the
people of the world while this percentage was higher in China with 32%,
than India at 23%. Foods from animals were the next largest consumed
item and interestingly Indians ate more than the world average with 27%.
Nuts and seeds consumed in India and China were much higher than the
world average.
In summary, Indian ate more animal foods than Chinese while Chinese
consumed more vegetables, fruits and seeds items than Indians. On an
average, Chinese people ate more vegetable and seeds than rest of the
world.

The charts below show the results of a survey about what people
of different age groups say makes them most happy.
There are several similarities between what younger and older people say
makes them most happy. However, there are several striking differences.
Firstly, let us look at the similarities. It is noticeable that for both younger
and older people, the highest percentage says that achievement at work
brings them most happiness: 31% for the younger age group and 32%
for the older group. Doing hobbies is also very important for both groups:
the second largest percentage of both age groups mention doing hobbies
as making them most happy.
