Discrete Job WIP Oracle Apps

This document provides instructions for using a Discrete Job Workstation. It describes launching the workstation form by selecting a department and pressing Launch. The workstation screen then displays released work orders and job details for that department. Users can view operation details within each job and perform moves by dragging assemblies between steps. A component shortages screen is also available to review job component shortages.

Discrete Job Workstation

This document defines the process for using the Discrete Job Workstation.

To the left is the path to follow


to access the Workstation
form. You must select a
department and then press
the Launch button to open the
workstation form.

The workstation will appear


like the screen below. You
can view the details of the
released work orders for
assemblies coming from this
department. You can view the
details of each job.

You can then select


the job and view the
details of the
operation within the
job.

You can also


perform moves by
dragging and
dropping
assemblies from
one step to
another.
