Resources:
T. makes Ls repeat chorally then individually (each time when T.S
showing a flashcard).
T. introduces the written form using word cards or writes the
words on the board. (Ls repeat).
T. distributes the flashcards, says a word (phone games), the
one who has the right flashcard goes up to the board and shows
it (others repeat), and then sticks the flash card on the board. (T.
does the same with other flash cards).

(T. may deal with more practice activities e.g. Ask a learner to go
up to the board and pick or touch the …..…).

15 m Assessment: T. deals with a matching activity on the board then on the copy
books (Task one page 65).

the topic using phonemic awareness –Reading words containing the vowel sound /a:/ correctly.

Board game race:
T. splits the class into groups, draws a line down the middle of
