FernFlex

Controller
Remotely manage your assets and automate decisions with the
FernFlex controller. In combination with FernView software, the
FernFlex controller facilitates automatic system management
via control algorithms that run locally, regardless of internet
connectivity.

The FernFlex controller also enables bi-directional, high


resolution and reliable communication with all components
and sensors in a distributed power system.

FEATURES
Manufacturer agnostic
The FernFlex controller is compatible with a wide range of components which can be
used within a power system. This allows the controller to aggregate data from all
devices into one platform (please check our device compatibility list for more info).

Control Features
Continuously improve system performance, reduce downtime and increase
productivity through standardized or custom control algorithms (eg. load
management, diesel optimization, etc) that run locally and are not affected by an
intermittent internet connection.

High Data Resolution


Collection of data from connected devices, typically every second, and storing
the average, minimum and maximum values for every 60 second time period.

Local Storage
Data is stored locally on the FernFlex in case of an intermittent internet connection (up
to 12 months of local data storage).

Data compression Security


Up to 93% of data compression to End to end SSL encrypted data transfer. SSH
minimize data transfer costs. for remote access and software update.

Internet Connection Bi-directional Communication


Compatible with GSM, LAN or Take action by controlling each
satellite connectivity. Able to transfer component with access to remote
data at 2G speed. configuration
