Check Controls
● Make sure all controls are set to appropriate start positions (flaps, spoilers, brakes,
throttles, switches, etc)
Pre-FIight
Tablet (CTRL+3)
● Click and hold down on finger icon
● Launch Fenix App
● Panel States Section
● Cold & Dark (set as default asks about activating too)

MCDU (CTRL+1)
● MCDU Button
● FMGC
● INIT
○ FROM/TO ICAO codes (e.g. EGSS/EGPH)
○ COST INDEX (e.g. 20)
○ CRZ FL (e.g. 360 = 36,000ft)
○ WIND > WIND REQUEST
○ Next Page (->)
○ ZFW/CG (use tablet - Fenix App, Mass & Balance section, ZFW/MACZFW)
● F-PLN
○ Programme Flight
● PERF
○ Get Take Off data from Departure Perf App (Tablet, CTRL+3)
MCP (CTRL+7)
● Set QNH on Altimeters (both sides) and backup altimeter
- get from Departure Calculator Weather
● Configure as required for managed or selected mode
Instrument Panel
● Uncage Standby Attitude Indicator and set QNH
Tablet (CTRL+3)
● Launch Fenix App
● Ground Services section
● Remove GPU
● Remove Chocks

Push-Back
(if required - arrange through Fenix App in Tablet ~ CTRL+3)
Taxi
Flight Controls
● Flaps to Takeoff position (should agree with PERF calcs)
● Release parking brake

Take-Off
● THROTTLE to TOGA (auto-throttle should automatically switch on)
● Rotate at call-out airspeed - establish 15° climb
● GEAR to UP
Climb
● THROTTLE to CL DETENT (otherwise no auto throttle!)
MCP (CTRL+7)
● AUTOPILOT to ON
The aircraft should then look after itself if using “Managed” mode :)
