“V is for Vampire” Summary

In the first chapter Angie and Don Ballentine are in the same room with the lawyer of their
family; Ed Valdemar, and Vera Donato, a friend of the Ballentie’s family because the parents of
George and Anne Ballentine had died in a strange plane crash.

Two weeks later, new people started to work in the Ballentine’s Fashion House. Mylene, the new
Canadian buyer. Sasha Demidov a Russian fashion designer and Victor Sarav a new fashion
consultant. Victor wanted to change the company image and he wanted Angie’s face to be in
the front of all the company’s publicity. Everyone agreed with his idea except for Vera.

The next day, Victor came later into the office with a bandage in his head. He did not want to
alarm the rest but he told Angie that someone hit him on the head in the parking garage. He
said he wasn’t sure but that it could have been Vera but when Angie wanted to check the
cameras he said it was better not to. Later, Don checked the cameras and saw that Victor hit
himself against the wall and knew they couldn't trust him.

In chapter four, Don died in a car accident while he was trying to warn his lawyer about Viktor. A
week later, Viktor entered Vera's office and said that he knew about her stealing money from the
Ballantines. Vere felt very worried because she needed the money for her mother in the
hospital. She didn’t want to harm the Ballentine’s family.

After the Ballentine’s success in the fashion show in Milan. Vera and Angie went to Viktor’s old
house in Bulgaria to have some short vacations. When they came back Vera realized that Viktor
had changed everything in the office as she expected. Viktor told her that Mylene and Sasha
were found dead a week ago near a club. She suspected that Viktor was behind all of that and
tried to warn Angie about him, but Angie disagreed with her because she was in love with him.

Vera became obsessed with Viktor and tried to find proof so she browsed his name on the
internet and found lots of stories and found it strange that none knew his age and also that there
was nothing related to his life in Bulgaria. When Viktor went to London for 5 days she went to
his apartment to investigate, but Viktor was there. Viktor told Vera he was getting married to
Angie and Vera left his apartment furious because she knew he was doing that because of the
money.

A week later Angie married Viktor. During the wedding Ed told Vera about the video of Viktor
hitting himself against the wall in the garage. She went crazy when she knew about that and ran
out of the wedding. Viktor followed her and he admitted killing everyone because he wanted to
marry Angie and it was necessary for his plan to work. Vera told him she knew he was not only
a murderer but a Vampire and that he is making Angie a vampire too. So, he killed her and
drank her blood. So, he came back to the wedding and married Angie.

After the wedding Angie and Viktor went to the Bahamas for their honeymoon and he turned
Angie into a Vampire so they could live a whole life together.
